XXVII. Scouting Legion (1)

My mood brightens up when I heard his suggestion. Combining both of my skill and power, it never comes to my mind before. The next time I train, I'll train both of them at the same time.

After taking a bathe and eating our breakfast, we started our journey to Capital.

I started to hum the song my older brother, Chris niisama used to sing on me whenever I got scared when I got nightmares (my early years of reborn, I dreamed a lot about my past life and got a nightmare out of it. Instead of mother who was supposed to be the first one to discover my nightmare attacks, it was Chris niisama who will coax and lull me in my sleep).

I started to miss Chris niisama

When was the last time I saw him? Two months ago? Maybe three?

I can't even remember since I was busy with my training and Kyle was always with me (but now, I am not sure if my closeness with my little brother is just like before... or something really change after Coleen's birthday party). I know that Arcadia was too far away from here but I also know that they can have three days off once every month at Ygdrassil Magical Academy but I don't know why oniisama didn't even went back home for three months now.

Did something happen to him? Or maybe he got himself a girlfriend and makes his time busy with her?

I felt sullen just thinking that he prioritize his girlfriend over me, his little sister... but what if he didn't got a girlfriend but instead a boyfriend?!

Oh no! I know my brother is a pretty boy, rare species to be exact. A high spec character with high grade looks, talent, and brain.

Thinking of him with someone of his same gender, I flushed with excitement and started trembling.

Well, it was hard to know whether a man is straight or not in this age, right~?

Just by imagining my very handsome brother with another handsome guy makes my head exploded with different embarrassing scene and makes my face burn.

Kyaaaaa~

"Ne, oneesama. What are you thinking?"

I was back to earth when I heard Kyle asking me what I was thinking just now and I blush really hard then shook my head faster, ".....N-Nothing"

His eye narrowed as he looks at me, obviously doubting my answer, "Really?"

I cleared my throat and acting seriously at him. "Hai! I am just thinking about oniisama, did he arrive at the Capital now? Is he okay? Did he have a... girlfriend?" a boyfriend is what I almost said, luckily, I speak slower when I asked this question.

"Maybe, Chris oniisama is handsome and smart. It is no surprise if he gets one" then he asked in a low voice, "Did you think something bad about oniisama, oneesama?"

I stiff then blush again, "Of course not! Why would I?" I then flap my hands in my face and made a fake laugh to hide my embarrassment

"You're suspicious, oneesama"

"I am not! Stop probing, will you?"

"Hmmm... then why is your face red?"

I touch my face with both hands and started to stutter, "I-It's because I felt h-hot today... right, mother?"

"Fufufu trying to evade your brother's question, aren't we young lady?"

"Mother!!"

It was already late when we arrive, because of tiredness that I felt from our journey, I did not join them in dinner instead I asked Jane to bring me a lite dinner in my room. After taking a light bathe and eating my dinner, I immediately fell asleep when my head felt the soft pillow.

I wake up next morning really early.

I first do my daily exercise in the field since there was actually practice area around here and the most amazing was the military base in the Capital was exactly near our mansion, just a walking distance and you'll arrive in the military base.

Unlike in Hoffman, the staff here in Capital was mostly composed of military men and soldiers, walking in and out of the mansion. I will not runs out of opponent to spar with whenever we stay here but since mother prefer the quiet and simple life of a province, we never lasts here for two weeks unless it is needed.

I told my parents about my plan today on meeting with my friends when we ate our breakfast. Kyle was sulking at the corner since I am going to meet my friends; since the party, he began to abhor feelings to my friends, thinking that they will influence me with their bad behavior. What a judgmental he is.

I wore a simple brown dress with black gloves, brown bonnet, a brown travelling boots, and a white parasol.

And went my way towards the high class café of our designated meeting place.
