My name is Tykari, although most people just call me Tyke. I'm what you'd call an "oddball" or "outsider". And you'd be completely right! I am different in every way possible. I'm a geek, I dyed my hair navy blue, I'm proudly Gay, and I tend to stand out from the rest of the crowd at school. I may look like a rebellious teenager, but trust me; I'm smart as hell. Of course in the constant social power struggle in school, it's always about how you look and act. My friends and I are such outsiders that nobody else even bothers with us, we all know they talk about us behind our backs. And we honestly don't care. We're above all the drama at school. My two best friends are Drake, or D.C as we call him, and Simone. They're both just as smart as me, we're the trio of geeks who never stop talking about video games to each other. Everyone in the school knows that I'm gay, I had no reason to take the effort of hiding it. The people in my friend group know that I have a little "crush" on one of the popular kids, his name is Sal. But I'd more of classify it as something more, I've never spoken to him really. I can't call it a crush, as it's more of a full blown obsession. I have two instagram accounts and stalk him on the one that isn't myself, and I always play out scenarios with him in my head. I can't blame myself for feeling this way about him, he's just that guy that you don't mess around with, but I know there's more to him than that, I have to know what he is really like.
