Chapter 2: Call It a Truce

Danny's POV

(Flashback: Before DP and KG meet)

Me and tucker were seated at Nasty Burgers in our usual spot waiting for Sam

"Hey Tuck what do you think is taking Sam so long?"

"Who knows, she's a girl, most of them walk around thinking about what their hair looks like."

"Yeah, but that doesn't sound like Sam"

"Yeah she's probably protesting against meat. Which will never happen! I will fight for MEAT!"

I sighed at him and his love for Meat, but him saying that Sam is protesting against Meat was probably right. We sit there eating our burgers and fries until finally she arrived.

"What took you so long Sam? Me and Danny have been waiting here for half an hour." Tucker questioned

"You wouldn't believe what I saw on my way here." She said then took some deep breaths, it seemed that she was running all the way here.

"If you say that you saw another environment hazard again, we know. 'Save the World, Save the Environment First'." Tucker said as he quoted that last part

"What no, and what's wrong with wanting to save the environment, they are destroying mother nature just to build shopping Malls that we don't need." Sam said to tucker pointing out reasons to save nature while tucker shot back reasons against her.

I got tired at there little Debate and decided to snap them out of it "Hey Guys!"

"What!?" they said in unison then glared at each other

"Your losing focus, Sam what was it you wanted to tell us?" I asked her

"Oh right! Back when I was on my way here, I was walking pass a plane field until this giant blue portal came out of nowhere in the sky, and this figure came out of it and face planted into the ground, he was wearing a kind of hero looking suit with a cape and hoodie, like one of tuckers superhero comics, he looked confused then turned and saw me, that's was when I ran straight here." She explained, me and tucker exchanged looks and laugh up a storm

"S... so wait Sam, your telling us that somebody came out of nowhere falling from the sky in a blue portal, face planted into ground and was dressed in a Superhero suit. Now that's the most wildness story I've ever heard!" Tucker and I laughed some more until eventually it died down

"You two done yet" she asked us, with an annoyed expression on her face

"Wait..." We took a deep breath then released it "ok now I am. So, what do you want to do Sam?" We knew full well that Sam wouldn't be making this up and, so we believed her straight away after our little Laugh fest.

"We should go find him and see what he's up to and where he came from." She answered with a faced filled with curiosity and excitement.

"Alright where do we start?" asked tucker

"To the Field where I first saw him." We got up and walked out of Nasty Burger, heading for the field Sam said she saw the stranger. We follow walking side by side until my Ghost Sense went off. Sam and Tucker noticed this and nodded their heads in agreement for me to go and they will be right behind me.

"Don't worry we can search later for the stranger, we have a Ghost to catch." Sam said, I nodded and went to and alley and transformed.

I flew into the direction of the commotion and found myself in front of a Box Shop. Instantly I knew which ghost it was 'The Box Ghost' I thought then sighed and went inside, flying through the walls. Then I heard a yell which sounded like the Box Ghost and floated around trying to find him

"I'm sure I heard the Box Ghost in here." I said then saw somebody

A boy wearing a black a white hoodie with no selves, a red shirt, light yellow long pants and blue, black, white shoes. I couldn't see his face properly because he was wearing his hoodie, but I could see that his hair was black like mine in my human form. He looked up at me and said

"Huh? Who are you?" he said, confusion in his voice "Please don't tell me you're with that Box Ghost guy, cause I kind of sent him flying." He then points to the back of him, probably pointing in the direction he sent the Box Ghost flying, wait?

"You did what! To the Box Ghost? Wait, you don't know who I am!?" I said with a surprised expression

"Nope, no idea who you are mate, and if you're going to attack me like the other guy, then I won't hesitate to kick you ghost butt." he said and positioned himself for a fight.

"I would like to see you try" I said back

(Now back to the present)

'he doesn't know about me? But I'm Danny Phantom, everyone knows me. Who is this guy!?' I thought then enforced my hands with ecto energy and shot a couple of blasts his way, he dodged them all.

"You seemed to be way more powerful them the other Ghost, and more different too." He said with curiosity in his voice.

"Different how" I asked him as he continued to dodge my attacks

"I don't know how to say it, but you seem more... Alive" was his answer and that seem to stop me from blasting, I shock my head and continued to send more of my attacks his way

"What makes you say that, I'm a ghost with powers, see" I tried to convince him that I was a ghost by showing off my powers

"True, but..." he said and was instantly gone in a flash

"What the? Where did you go!?" I said then out of nowhere he was right in front me and I was still floating in the air. A surprise expression was clear on my face, then he said something which really shocked me

"... I didn't know that a Ghost had a heart beat" he said with his right hand on the left side were my heart was. My heart beat was beating fast, well to a normal person it seem like a normal heart rate, but being half dead my heart beats once per minute.

I was so surprised at how fast he figured it out. In an instant I pushed his hand away and blasted him with a Ghost Ray, he was pushed back to the wall and I floated down on my two feet. I look to see him against the wall, but he blocked the blast using a Sword, which I have no idea where it came from.

"Geesh... Man! What was that for? Really! All I did was pointed out that your no ordinary ghost, from what I can tell your in between both Life and Death. A Ghost who is still Alive or a Boy who is Half Dead. I'm just guessing this, but I think that you're a Halfa." He said as he placed his sword down to his side, still holding on to it

"Who are you! Some kind of Rookie Ghost Hunter Detective with the Guys in White!" I said to him, trying to sound normal and strong with my outburst

"A Rookie? Sometimes. A Ghost Hunter? Never tried doing that before, but it sounds fun. A Detective? Well... I did have some detective friends who taught me couple of things. Guys in White? No idea who those guys are? But I did know this Phantom Thief who wears all white."

He smiled as he talked about some unrelated information, like he was drifting off into his own little world.

"I didn't ask for any of that extra information you know?" I said to him with a 'don't you know sarcasm when you hear it' Look

"Why wouldn't I, this was a good chance for you to get to know me a little better." He replied, and I could tell he had smug smirk on his face.

Something weird happened and I laughed at how he acts and how he thinks, he completely changed the mood around me.

"Ha, see! You're already starting to like me. I'm not a bad person, and I'm sorry if what I said offended you before. I sometimes speak my mind when I'm excited." He rubbed the back of his head, then he lifted his hand to me and said

"Want to call it a truce." I didn't even think when I walked up and shook his hand, something about him told me that I could trust him. "Cool! There's no need for us to fight anymore, but could I ask you a favour?"

"Hm? What is it?"

"You see I'm not from this world, and I kind of need a guide or someone to show me around."
