SONADOW : Trouble with Brother

Chibi's POV

That guy...i don't know why but i don't trust that guy. I kept hiding from behind a shelf and stare at how my brother is talking to him. That guy left and i quickly ran towards my brother.

"Bro, who was that?"

"Hm? Oh he's a visitor here...i don't know him. Pfft, why are you pouting? Your cheeks are puffy when you do that" he laughed and pat my head.

I turn my eyes the other way and saw him looking at my brother before he glances at me. Our eyes met and i don't know why but i definitely don't like that guy!

"Does he always come here?"

"Actually i think this is the first time i saw him...maybe he's new to the town"

Brother said as he continue organizing some books. I'm kind of worried about this, that guy looks so dark and evil.

"Are you bored?"

I snapped out of my mind and stare up at him in surprise.

"No! It's more fun to be in here than staying home all day" i smiled.

"Oh i really thought you were getting bored. Why don't you tell me what you were doing upstairs?"

He asked and let me tell all the fun things i did with Tails. He told me a nice story about them as co-workers and some story of a crazy visitor they once had!

Sonic's POV

Chibi looked so happy in here. I'm glad he's not bored. It's almost noon so i guess i'm gonna take Chibi outside to eat.

"Hey Amy, i'm gonna take Chibi out to eat. Do you want me to bring you something?" I asked.

"Well...i'd love to drink mango jelly splash since i'm not that hungry" she smiled.

"Okay cool. What about Tails?"

"Ask him yourself" Amy gestured to the stairs.

I went upstairs to ask Tails. He was still organizing some books. I walk towards him and ask him what he wanted.

"I'm fine with whatever you want to buy me" he smiled.

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

"Okay then, i'll be going now" i said before i left.

I took Chibi with me as we made it to a near restaurant. I put him down after carrying him all the way here. I can run really fast but i try not to be too fast around town or else i might send some people flying. Chibi could run too but not that fast, he's still growing so i'm sure he's gonna be faster than me! We ordered something to eat here and something to take back to the library.

"Hey, that guy from before..."

"Hm? You're still thinking about him? He's just a visitor" i smiled.

"I know but i just don't like his face!"

"Bro, chill out. It's just your baby sense" i smirked at him and made him pout.

"Have you ever look up at the internet that most of the people who can see or sense evil stuff are children under 13?" He said, folding his arms.

"Eheheh...i only saw that video about that weird babysitting experience where the childrens cry for no reason, or draw a creature that's actually not there" i laugh nervously.

"See? So please trust me" he whined.

His pouty face is my weakness okay i just can't handle it. I guess i could try to go along with it, maybe he'll just forget about that guy being bad and stuff.

"Okay okay i trust you" i smiled, pinching his left cheek.

We hurried back to the library after we finished our meal. I gave Amy her soda and i was gonna go upstairs to take Tails's food but Chibi insisted that he should take it.

"Alright fine, don't trip"

"I won't!"

Chibi's POV

I made it to the second floor and saw Tails chatting with a visitor. I walk to him and he saw me.

"I'll put it to the note now, have a nice day" he smiled as the visitor nodded and left.

He turn his head towards me, kneeling down and smiling.

"Hey there! Thanks for bringing this to me" he said as he took the meal box from me.

I smiled, nodding at him.

"Hey hey, i wanna ask you something"

"Okay let's go to the back" Tails said, leading both of us downstairs to the back room. The back room is nice and cool. It's like a little hang out room.

Tails sat down on the chair and also sit on the other side of the table.

"So what did you wanna ask me about?"

"Um...there's this hedgehog, he has black fur and red eyes. Does he always com1e here?"

Tails stare at me confusingly while eating.

"Huh? Uh...i don't remember any black-furred hedgehog around here. But i'm only working at the second floor maybe he's always at the first floor?"

"Brother said he also saw that guy for the first time..."

"Well...what are you so worried about?"

I place both my hands on the table. It's kind of tall for my height but who cares! I stare right into Tails's eyes, trying to get serious but i know no one would take a kid seriously.

"I'm worried if he'll do bad things to my brother! I love my brother and i don't want anyone hurting him! And that guy before- he looks evil!"

Tails looked a bit surprised when i yelled like that. I sigh and lean back on the chair.

"I'm sorry i shouldn't yell..."

"No no no it's okay! I feel you...Sonic is a wonderful friend since he started working here years ago! We can't let someone hurt him" Tails smiled.

I smiled back and place both hands back on top of the table.

"I'm glad you understand me!"

"Oh but we must keep this a secret, you know, like guards? Spying on your brother to make sure he's safe?" Tails whispered.

My ears perked up and my eyes are wide open. He really caught my attention!

"That would be awesome!"

"Hahaha cool! Oh i better finish up" Tails said and i nodded.

It has been a fun day for me today! Not only that i get to be a spy, but Tails is now my new friend and my partner! I will protect my brother, he is the best big brother ever! I won't let some nasty guy take him away from me!
