Pandora I

The two men wouldn't leave her alone.

She ran through the dockyard as darkness swallowed it, the wet roughness of the road chafing her feet like sandpaper. The whole area had a morbid feel to it, and the torrential rain made it no better. The streets were ominously empty. Help! She wanted to scream, but her voice just wouldn't let her. She was tired, her muscles ached to slow down but she had to go on. She had to go on if she wanted to live.

The men had been chasing her for a good hour now. She was weak and her head was starting to spin. I can't do this, she thought. I can't go on.

Just as she was about give up and accept her fate, she saw an array off containers-- large ones, the size of a room, and something arised within her. Hope.

She mustered all of that was remained of her will power and summoning all her energy she sprinted towards the metal masses. If she could just get there fast enough... five more steps... four more... three... two... one.
