Everett Ailan's/Malefici's P.O.V
The tension was released with a snap of the Siren's fingers. After taking in a few deep breaths, I looked around to see exactly where we were. "Why are we in the forest?"
Sereita opened the door to a random house in the middle of the woods while completely ignoring me. "Isn't this place nice? It's surrounded by all this warm energy, and it's as big as a mansion!"
I walked into the bright house to find shattered walls and knocked over furniture. "What happened here?"
She walked in and glanced over the room. "The owners must have been in the middle of redecorating. Do you sense anything around us, Malefici?"
I shook my head. "Nothing. Everything is a blur right now. I can't even think straight."
My head hurt like there was no tomorrow, and during my trek across the house, I managed to find a mirror.
I was a mess. My hair was more tangled than it should have been, and I had weird scratches on my face and arms. After I took off my yellow mask, I could see that I had dark bags under my eyes, and a red gash on the left side of my face.
"Sere?" I called out to the Villain. "Where did this come from?"
Sereita followed my voice. "What is it?" Her eyes followed where my finger was pointing at. "You must have fallen over yourself in the woods. That might explain your headache."
"Oh." I muttered. I wasn't going to doubt her answer, but I've never been that clumsy, or fragile in this case.
Sereita turned away and walked back down the stairs. Peering over the balcony, I could see that she was trying to clean things up. "You said you were trying to find your brother, right? I overheard that he was in the Dark Realm."
"No way!" I grabbed onto the railing and threw myself over, not even bothering with the stairs. "How did he even get there? I thought only the Three Dark Gods were able to get there with no help. Galifici should be the only Villain around besides us."
She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't think this person was telling us the truth, Malefici." Sereita walked over to me and embraced me. "I actually think he's fairly close by, but he's human now. It'll be much easier to find him."
The siren closed her eyes and brought her face up to mine. Before any contact could be made, she abruptly turned away and looked out the window. "It's already almost day time? We should hurry then, and find your brother."
I hid my disappointment and looked out of the same window. "Do you know if he's even in the forest? Why would he be here if he's human?"
Sereita smiled and gave me a light kiss before responding. "He's on the outskirts of the city, so let's get going."

After traveling all the way back to the city, Sereita and I stopped to catch our breath on a fairly tall building.
"Say, Malefici. Remember when I told you about me having the power to give people more magic?"
