Chapter 1

Yuuki's POV:

I woke up at 7 am on a Monday morning for school. Gosh why does school has to be so annoying sometimes? Why do we have to wake up this early?! Oh well, life isn't perfect. School can be boring but at least, I make some good friends there. Stella is my best friend and we have known each other ever since middle school. Ah, middle school. These, so far, were the best years of my life. I used to be full of energy and play video games all the time. Well, I am still the same, but I don't really have the time to do this anymore. I gotta study hard if I want a good future am I right?:)

I sat down on my bed and took my cellphone that was on my shelf next to me. I had a message from Stella!

•Stella💗: Wake up Yuuki senpai, it's time for school!😘

•Me: Yeah yeah I'm up. 😒

•Stella💗: Um, have you studied for the science exam?🤔

•Me: Wait... WHHHHATTT? We have a science exam today????😱

•Stella💗: Yeah. Okay judging from your reaction, you clearly haven't studied?😐

•Me: Judging from my reaction, I clearly haven't🤷🏻‍♀️...

I turned off my phone and sighed. I want a good future for sure, but I totally need motivation for it. I don't necessarily hate school, but I hate the part where I have to study at home. Aren't the teenaged years supposed to be super duper fun with parties, love stories and all..? Where's all that in my life? When will I get a boyfriend? Oh well. Life isn't over yet am I right? I got up from my bed and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. After 30 minutes of getting ready, I grabbed my science book that was in my backpack and well, you guessed it, studied. I knew I wasn't ready for the exam, but it was better than nothing.

After studying, I ate my breakfast and ran to school. My high school, Yasogami High, was only 5 minutes away from my place. Once I arrived at my locker, a handsome guy caught my attention. He was really hot, just my type. Golden blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. He was perfect, so perfect that it kinda annoyed me. He was talking to another guy who was hot too. Black hair and green eyes, a rare, but a beautiful combination. I stopped staring at them because it was getting creepy and took my math stuff for class. As I walked in the direction of my math class, I accidentally bumped into my best friend Stella.

Stella: *turning her head towards me* Hey Yuuki! Watch where you're going girl!

Me: *giggling* I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't entirely there.

Stella: *looking at me with a smile* I can see that. Wait, a-are you blushing?

I touched my cheeks and they were way warmer than usual. It felt like my face was on fire.

Me: Dang, you're right! *looking away shyly* Geez I wonder why...

Stella: Got a crush or something?

Me: I wouldn't call that a crush. I just saw a very handsome guy earlier, that's all...

Stella: *taking my hand* That's adorable! Come on show me! You might be in luck.

Yeah, Stella knows almost every hot guy there is in this school. She is one of the most beautiful and popular girl around here. She's had countless boyfriends before. Sucks that most of them were bad boys though...

Mr. Perfect was still there. Stella and I hid behind a wall and looked at him. Not creepy at all we promise...

Me: *Hitting her arm amicably with my elbow* So? Do you know him?

Stella: Nope, I don't. I know his "friend" though.

Me: The one with dark hair?

Stella: yup, he and I are slowly, but surely, starting a frequentation.

Me: That's interesting... Um, what's his name?

Stella: Yusuke. If I understand you correctly, you want to meet the hot blonde dude right? Well, you're in luck.

Me: For real?

Stella: *giggling* I just have to organize a double date and voilà, you have the boyfriend of your dreams!

Me: *blushing* D-double date?! Isn't that a bit soon though? I don't think I am mentally ready for this...

Stella: *putting her hand on my shoulder* Trust me, you'll be fine. You'll have to get out of your confort zone some time, you know.

Okay okay, she is right I suppose. The double date is the day after, so I have to prepare myself for a new experience...
