[chapter sixty-three: "quality time"]

Now, I'm definitely curious.

"Who's going over?" I ask first. "Please tell me it's not Bill."

I mean, I don't really have a problem with Bill, but why would I want him to win? Psh.

"Actually, it's me." Okay, I'm actually surprised by that. "Goldberg's big, bad streak is ending at Starcade."

Even though I would've hated to see Kev lose, I'm still shocked that Bill's coveted undefeated streak is going to be crushed. There's no one I'd rather have that honor than my babe.

"No shit?" I can't keep the surprise out of my voice. "They're actually letting him lose?"

"I didn't believe it at first either." Kev shrugs and then sends me a sexy little smirk. "It's not going to be a clean win, naturally, but's it happening."

"But how?" I prod. I can tell that it's got to be something good.

"You might not want to be smoking when I tell you, babe." Kev snickers as I exhale a cloud of smoke.

I nod and then quickly finish off my cigarette. As I do so, Kev just drinks his wine and watches me with this fond look of amusement. I love this man.

"Okay, so what is it?" I look over at Kev as I move my ashtray back to the coffee table.

"So, you're going to distract him, something I'm sure you already thought about. But," Kev grins, "Scott is going to do something to Bill while you've got his attention."

"And that something is?"

"He's going to tase the living fuck out of him." How Kev manages to say this with a straight face, I'll never know.

I start giggling, and before I know it, I've leaned over into my lap and I'm laughing my ass off. The image of Bill Goldberg being hit by a taser is just horribly amusing to me.

Am I a bad person for laughing like this? I don't think so, but then again, I've been told that my sense of humor can be quite different from everyone else's.

"I told you that you'd find it funny." Kev comments as I finally settle down. To be quite honest, I'm not sure why I found it as funny as I did, but that's okay. We all deserve a good laugh every now and then.

"I'm kind of jealous, though." I tell Kev, unable to stop myself from smiling. "I wish I got to tase someone."

"I'm sure you'll get your chance, babe." Kev winks at me. "I think I might be able to pull some strings to get that to happen for you."

I'll love Kevin regardless of what his job is, but I have to say, him having creative control has its benefits.

"Can I tase Eric?" That's something I never expected to ask, but the thought makes me extremely excited. "Please?"

"I don't know if that's something that I could work out for you, babe, but we'll see." Kev tells me as he rubs my knee. I can tell that he'd love nothing more than to see me tase the shit out of Bischoff, but he's also trying to be reasonable.

"Ah, a girl can only dream." I sigh dramatically.

It'd be a great thing for me to do. Maybe the shock of the taser would be enough to jolt him back to reality, and knock him out of this fantasy world he's been living in?
