Is anyone else awake

Hello

Deadly silence rang through the air as I sit up in my bed,oh god 7:45 I need to leave for school why didn't mum wake me up? It would be the first time she has forgotten she may have taken the day off, I mean if I'm late I'm late. I go off to feed my dog Joey, the sweetest pooch you would ever meet, black fluffy labradoodle. Asleep. Normally when I go downstairs he's bouncing around me wanting food but he didn't even stir when I came into the room.
I go over to him, I call his name. Asleep. Didn't even move. Is he dead? My beloved dog dead? No. Still breathing. Thank god. I couldn't live without my dog he's my best friend. I then stop, I live on a very busy street next to a railroad , there is no noise. I cannot hear even the sound of an engine. I look outside and there are cars that have just stopped in street with the drivers passed out.
I run out on the street my mums car is still on the driveway so she hasn't left? The neighbour opposite us had been getting into his car but was now on the floor.
What has happened?
I'm so confused by the whole situation, something terribly wrong has obviously happened but why am I seemingly the only person to be awake.
I scream, I cannot be alone in this world, I don't want to be alone in the world.
"Hello?"
"Please someone anyone please"
I think of all the things that I've taken for granted, my mum, my siblings which I used to almost kill, that stranger on the bus which I smiled at, friends...
I think of all the things that I could have done with my life travel, get married,have a family no all the the things I can do that I'm going to do with my life.
I just have to figure out what the hell is happening with the world, maybe I'm in a messed up nightmare that I need to wake up from. I pinch  myself no luck.
The internet.
The only place that I had forgotten to look,I start up my computer it's glitching that doesn't seem right.
Something opens up a message "is anyone awake?" I scramble to answer "yes yes thank god there's another person"
"Oh my god I posted this sooo long ago" it had been 5 minuets.
"What's your name?"
The screen said typing for a long time I could hardly contain my excitement for another human.
"Sam, what about you? Also where do you live? I know it's nice to talk like texting but I'd rather meet in person, wait let's video chat hold on I'll install it onto your computer"
A beeping started then a picture of Sam pops up I answer.
"Hey Sam I'm Alex, I live in Brumley, England you?"
"That's weird I live just 10 minuets from Brumley"
"That can be seen as strange yes, maybe we can meet halfway?"
"Okay the station that's about half way meet you there in 15 get some gear ,over and out"
That's such a geeky thing to do over and out.
What did Sam mean by supplies? Weapons? Food?
I hear my stomach rumble I haven't ate all day and it's already 9 I'm guessing schools not on today ah ha.
I pack a bag with things that could be seen as essential including food.
Don't judge me I can't think on an empty stomach, as soon as I was ready I headed out to the train station, it's so weird seeing people so peaceful on the pavements and in there cars. I finally reach the station, Sam and I had exchanged numbers thankfully the satellites are still working otherwise I think I would have left without sam. 2 minuets then I meet them, 1 minute oh god why am I so nervous for meeting them.
They're here I grin, another person awake now to figure out what's happening.
