Catching Knight

Prologe

"Cring!! Cring!! " ring the alarm, Im still sleepy and it disturb me. I travel my hand to the knight table on right side of the bed and turn it off. I was about to sleep again when i remember its on purpose.

" Man I almost forgot. Its my walking schedule." I mutter, I jump out of my bed and walk my feet to the bathroom which is facing the right side of my bed. I did my morning rituals and wear my exercise outfit; Sport bra, jagger, sport jacket and rubber shoes.

After that I head out from my bathroom to my kitchen and cook fried rice, egg, and ham for my breakfast. Its better to jog with full stomach than with empty one. As soon as I finish my breakky, I wash the dishes and fill my tumbler with water. As im done filing the tumbler, I take my phone, mp3, and earpiece and place it to the packet of my jacket then i start to jog.

My route is not that far, it's just the whole village. I jog  and jog and jog. I stop when tiredness hit my legs. I drink some water to gain energy. Napatingin ako sandali sa may kanan ko, it was a forest. Ang tagal tagal ko nang nag-jojogging dito but it is first time for me to know that there's a forest in our village and because Im a curious person I get in the forest. Ang tahimik dito, payapa at matiwasay. All i can hear is a singing of birds, dancing of trees, the whisper of the winds and my footsteps. Medyo napakalayo na ako pero hindi parin ako humihinto sa paglalakad, gusto ko kasing makahanap ng lugar na mapupuntahan ko lalo na kapag marami akong problema, gusto ko ng may paglalabasan. Meanwhile i hear a noise, a gun shot, coming from the west side of the forest.

"Maybe it was just a hunter, hunting for a dear. " i look around the forest, big trees and big plants are covering the area from where Im standing and then I realize something.

"Oh no, baka mapagkamalan akong usa! " I said worriedly. I was about to run when I heard a shot of a gun again " Arghh!!! " I shout not because I'm shock but because I am feeling the pain on the left side of my leg.

Then I heard some footsteps and the swaying of the grass and branches,  the sound gets nearer until.. 

" A girl! Are they insane?  Why would they send a girl to get me? Are they underestimating me? " he mutter to his self. While he's busy in talking to his self.

"Argh!!! " I scream coz I feel the pain again, napakapit ako sa paa niya " Will you help me?  Coz I believe that your the one who shoot me. " pangbabara ko sa kanya.

Linipat niya naman yung pansin niya skin, he gave me that confuse look into his face, "I shoot you because if I don't you you might shoot me instead,  as what I have observe your a weak girl so why the hell they sent you to get me? " he accusingly said. Grabe walang preno yung bunganga nitong lalaking to, ni wala nga siyang ebidensiya kung ako nga ba yung sinasabi niya nangbibintang agad.

"first and foremost  no one sent me here,  napadpad lang ako because of my curiosity at saka bakit mo ako binaril ha?! " sigaw ko sa kanya,  ang OA niya ha! Ang bastos bastos, ni hindi pa nga siya nagtatanong eh nang bibintang pa siya agad.

" If they didn't sent you then sino? " tanong niya sakin.
"Aba malay ko! Nakita mo naman siguro yung mga dala ko diba? Mapapatay bakita na tumbler lang yung hawak ko? " umiling siya "Since we're clear here will you help me to get out of this forest? Coz I really can't walk on my own " offer ko sa kanya. Pinunit niya yung manggas ng dam it niya at pinulupot sa sugar ko para tumigil I to sa pagdudugo. Tinulungan niya ako sa pagtayo and then naglakad na kami palabas ng gubat,  hindi paman rin kami nakakalayo ay nakarinig na kami ng mga putok ng baril, yes you read  it right mga kasi marami. Pagkatapos ng barilan we hear someone shout.

"Knight Park!!! Sumuko ka na, marami kami nag-iisa ka lang. Kapag hindi ka sumuko papatayin ka namin, simple lang naman ang gusto ni boss eh! Pakasalan mo ang anak niya ang arte mo pa, maganda naman si mam Sapphire ah! Wala ka parin namang girlfriend kaya sumuko kana!!! " mahabang sabi nung lalaking sumigaw, in fairness ah ang haba mung speech niya.

"Is he the one who haunt you? " tanong ko, bakit ba?  Curious ako eh! 

"Don't ask the obvious just run as fast as you can. " he snapped back. Sungit eh!

"Wait!! Let me remind you of what happened earlier, binaril mo ako kaya paano ako makakatakbo ng mabilis ha? " Reklamo ko sa kanya, ang dali niya atang makalimot. Bumugtong hininga siya "Fine" he mutter, then binuhat niya ako ng pa bridal shower medyo nagulat ako pero hindi narin ako nagreklamo kesa iwan niya ako rito diba? Bang mapansin niyang hindi na ako magrereklamo ay tumakbo na siya palabas ng gubat.

Nang makalabas na kami ng gubat ay ibinaba niya na ako.

"Miss where's your home?  Nakaka konsensya kasi kung iiwan nalang kita dito,  since I unintentionally shoot you it's my responsibility to take you home. " mahaba niyang sabi,  nahawa na siguro siya sa lalaking sumigaw kanina.

"Ang haba nang speech mo. Sundan mo nalang ako kaya ko na rin namang maglakad eh! "Pangsira ko sa mood niya kaya balik sa dati yung hitsura niya. Haha buti nga sa kanya. Mayamaya pa ay nakarating na kami sa bahay ko.

"Do I need to explain to your parents? " tanong niya out of the blue.

"You know what,  that's the sweetest word I've ever heard from you. " I teased him.

"Miss, i only help once if you don't accept it then your loss " inis niyang sabi. Sungit talaga nito,  kung hindi ka lang gwapo.

"Ok, chill lang. No need for you to explain wala dito parents ko kaya makaka alis kana. " sabi ko. Nagpaalam na kami sa isa't isa at umalis na siya.

"I will. " he said then turn around without even saying good bye. Napaka antipatiko talaga nung lalaking yun, cute pa naman sana siya kaso nakaka turn off yung ugali niya.
