to fade

lay me down

in green, open meadow

and hold my hand

while we watch the stars

adorn the cold dark sky

and light up our world

let the wind caresses the air around us

with a soft gentle breeze

sing us lullabies of good nights

let the those which are green

radiate bouquets of wildflowers

and let me fade slowly

into a lasting oblivion

poetry, but not really.Where stories live. Discover now
