The Bet

Third Person POV

The mysterious man fell to the ground near a big crowd of people, "Shit!" the man tried to get out of sight but it was too late. The wizards take their stance, "Stop right there!" the scarlet hollered. In a split second the man reacted by snagging a pregnant woman, she screams in pain as the man takes a blade to her throat, "Take one more step and she and her baby dies." The people around began screaming and running away, the woman starts bawling, "Please don't do this!" The man tugs her hair a little harder, "Shut up!" The scarlet tries to calm both the woman and the man, "Alright, give us the woman and we will let you go." The man laughs softly, "No it's too late for negotiation." The man then raises the knife to build up force to make the blow.

Suddenly a white glowing object bashes the man's face, he flew high off the ground. Then he began to levitate high off the ground, (y/n) then walks out of no where and brings the unconscious man down on the ground. The group of wizards are stunned of how fast and efficient the mysterious boy took down their target. The scarlet mage helps the woman up onto her feet, she leaves in a hurry crying in relief and fear. (y/n) levitates the man to the wizards, "Here you go." he adds. "Whoa, very impressive." the ravenette takes the man over his shoulder, the blonde girl comes closer to (y/n), "What's your name?" (y/n) gives a cute warm smile, "(y/n)(l/n)." The blonde gives me a smile too, "Lucy. These here are my friends Erza, Gray, Happy, and Natsu."

(y/n) Pov

"Well, it was nice meeting you, but I don't think you need me anymore. Bye." I turn around to make my way home, but someone took a hold of my hand and pulled me close, I turn to see the pinkette, Natsu. "Wait you can't go yet. We just met!" Natsu looks deep into my eyes and then turns a little red, he then took a step back as if nothing happened. "Uhh, well I guess I can reschedule my 'to do' list. So what's up?" I give a slight sigh. The blue flying cat Happy lands on my head and curls up into a ball to take a nap, "I'm gonna lie here for a while." Natsu begins to freak out, "I'm so sorry (y/n), Happy get off him!" Happy gives a response half asleep, "But his hair is so soft." I touch Natsu's shoulders to calm him down, "It's OK, Natsu. I don't mind it at all. In fact he's very soft."

"Erza and I are going to take this guy away, we'll catch up with you four later." So they both left one way as Natsu, Happy, Lucy, and I make our way to a guild they call 'Fairy Tail'. "So (y/n), do you have a guild?" Lucy ask in a polite way. "No, I've never seen why I should." Lucy and Natsu look at each other dumbfounded, then they both look at me "What!" They yelled at the same time. I just shrug my shoulders "Sorry?" Natsu and Lucy huddle together as if they were planning a strategy for a football game. "How about you join Fairy Tail to have a feel of it?" Lucy tries to convince me, I just shake my head no, but then Natsu points at me, "How about a deal? You vs me, one on one. If I beat you, then you have to join Fairy Tail and be on our team." I give a smirk, "And if I win, then I get to use a magic spell on you as my test subject." Natsu gulps, "Deal."

They take their stance and are ready to brawl. "Get ready (y/n)!" Natsu looking all fired up. I can only giggle to how cute he looks when he looks all excited. Lucy and Happy watch at safe distance. Natsu then sprints at me, his arm becomes inflamed, once he got close enough I opened up my hand in front of his face. "Supernova." A chain reaction of white explosion strikes Natsu as if he was nothing. And just like that Natsu is down for the count in just one move. Lucy and Happy's jaws are dropped with eyes opened as wide as they can go, "What!?" They both yelled at the same time. "Well then, the decision has been made." I say calmly. Lucy and Happy look disappointed from their terrible loss. I continue, "I'm going to join Fairy Tail. You guys interest me." Lucy and Happy look confused but are excited to have a new member in their guild. "Just show me where to go." Lucy and Happy go on ahead to the guild. Natsu still on the ground kinda struggling to get up. I walk to him, and help him on his on his butt, "You OK, Natsu?" Natsu then nods, "Yeah." I smile at him give him a passionate hug with a little blush. I get up and follow Lucy and Happy. I turn my head to look at Natsu and his face was as red as a tomato. 'I think I have a crush'. I start to have cute thoughts about him and I as I make my way to Fairy Tail.

Alright, my plan is to update around midnight so that way you guys can have something to look forward to the next day. If I don't publish at midnight, then I'll get it in sometime that day  plus the next one at midnight. Honestly I think i'm boring you guys from this story, if so then leave a comment suggesting what I should do. Ok, stay tuned for what becomes next. :)
