Faith I kinda wish what's its like to go outside during the day. I spent about 12 hours at home inside where the sun can't hit me. I have a rare disease called polymorphic light eruption also known as sun poisoning. Sucks I can't go outside without being sick, that's what I've been told by my mother I guess.
My mother is my doctor, I'm glad she is; makes things much better and less stressful. I haven't spent a single day in my entire life where I've been exposed to sunlight. I kinda don't want to know what would happen if it did but there's some days I do. I usually hang out during the nighttime when I can, I can't do much since everyone is asleep.
I only have one frie- mmh more like bestfriend, Aurora is my only friend I have and that my mom approves. She doesn't mind of my condition since we both forget I even have it when we hang. I keep a diary with me at my nightstand where I write my thoughts... it's been pretty helpful sometimes.

Dear diary, I just wanna be -normal for once...
I put my pen down to the side and looked backed and sighed at the sight of the little sunlight between my curtains. I hid my diary in a drawer next to me, I got up from my desk and went to my very comfortable bed until I heard a soft knock on my door. "Mmh?" Is all I could say, my mom open the door and sat down on the edge of the bed next to me. "Dinner is ready my baby" she played with my wavy hair I smiled on the pillow and asked "what's for dinner mom?" Turning around to face her "Your favorite" she winked and smiled , knowing what she meant and a bright smile ran across my face.

Once we finished dinner, my mom and I went to put a movie in the livingroom which we do often in most times when she doesn't work. We started watching a Disney movie, hey! Don't judge me I still want to be a kid, throughout half of the movie I started getting sleepy so I laid my head on my mom's lap while she strokes my hair. Every so often she would ask if I was watching and I would lie and say yes so I wouldn't have to go up the annoying stairs and up to my room.
I felt someone lightly shaking me and I flattered my eyes open, "sweetie come on let's get you to bed hmm" she said softly, I nodded my head and I went upstairs still sleepy and got tucked in by my mom. The last thing I could remember was my mom kissing my forehead and saying goodnight.
