Once upon a Christmas clear,
There was a girl who lived near here.
Her name was Elizabeth Snow,
She used to wonder very so.
She was like other girls that way,
She used to await for Christmas Day.
The snow fell down outside,
And the fireplace was alive.
She looked at the Christmas tree now,
But that tree looked different somehow.
If it had been any other year,
She'd be full of wonder and cheer.
But Elizabeth Snow has a story untold,
That made this Christmas a little more cold...
