1. History

Chloe's P.O.V
" And so the Acadian's-" Mrs. Simon was cut off by a knock on the door. I heard Mia, the schools top bitch whisper a small ' finally ' to Abby, her minion.

I groaned, History was my favourite subject and someone just had to ruin it... Mrs. Simon looked at me with that look that said ' I know it sucks ' as she walked over to the faded blue door, and she twists the golden knob to open the door.

The door opens as a tall guy looks at Mrs. Simon. He has a golden hair down to his shoulders, freckles that go across his pudgy face and a muscular frame, he had a slight tan, and he had chocolate brown eyes, overall he was cute.. " Sorry to interrupt but, is this history? " he questioned looking around tilting his head.

" ah yes you must be Nick! " said Lilly, Mrs. Simon is my cousin so I'm aloud to call her by her first name- Who I assume is Nick nods his head "come on in and introduce yourself!" Lilly enthusiastically said. Nick walked to the front of the classroom

" Hi my names Nick, I have a brother named Draco and I like playing Soccer " he said plainly. In the corner of my eye I could see Abby twisting a piece of her hair as she tried to look cute, although she looked like one of the plastics from mean girls instead. I rolled my eyes at Abby and jumped when I heard Lilly say my name.

" well nice to meet you Nick! You can go sit next to Chloe in the back left corner " she said pointing to me. Nick smiled and walked over to the empty desk that sat lonesomely beside mine. He looked down at me and smiled but I paid no attention to him as he pulled the chair out and sat beside me, smiling like a dork. Everyone looked back at me and I just raised a brow and everyone looked away, I rolled my eyes at their stupidity.

" Hey I'm- " I cut him off " Listen History is my favourite subject and if you think your gonna get a conversation with me during this subject, your wrong " I said flatly giving him a side glance, looking at Lilly, silently pleading her to continue with the lesson I was so eager to learn.

Nick just nodded and stared at me all class, it felt uncomfortable, him staring holes into the side of my head but I dealt with it. Not wanting to draw anymore attention to myself, the attention I already got from Nick sitting here was enough.

~time skip ~

" and so the English settlers then- " the bell abruptly stopped Lilly midway through her sentence. " ok class remember homework is due tomorrow " she said handing everyone but me homework, I groaned, I was really interested in that lesson too!

" why don't you get homework but I do and I'm new? " Nick asks- frowning- from beside me. I stop trying to gather my things and look at him and I sigh "Mrs Simon is my cousin and I pay most attention in this class " I say sighing again as I stand up with my stuff and hurry out of class, hopefully leaving Nick way behind.

After finally getting out of the mass of students I made it to my locker, I put the code in and unlocked my locker. Not realizing that Nick was beside me. " hey! " he says happily, making me jump and drop my books.

I groaned once again and tried to collect my books. " sorry I scared you but looks like we have four classes together and my lockers next to yours! " he says smiling down at me.

I just hummed in response and stood up putting my books in my locker one by one, angrily. I then slammed my locker closed and walked to the crowded cafeteria where my friends Sam, Ella and Tera were waiting.

" what took you so long! " Sam shouted smiling " you wouldn't believe it... there's this new guy named Nick who sits beside me in History and his locker is next to mine and he thinks that I'm gonna talk to him " I said sighing getting in line. Ella and Sam laughed and Tera spoke " Nick's my cousin " she said groaning " he's actually a pretty good guy " she says shrugging

" not when he talks to me during my favourite subject or scares me and makes me drop my books! " I yelled Sam and Ella laughed again as we all talked the normal conversation about how funny the little plastic wannabes are when they try to act cute.

Once we all got our treys and piled them with food we say in our normal spot in the corner as we laughed out asses off talking about anything and everything.

" MAY I GET YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE " yelled Max my team captain, Mia his girlfriend hanging onto him smacking her pink bubble gum. Jeez the chick is a cheerleader and she just had to date a team captain. We all stopped and looked at their table group, there Nick sat with all my teammates " WE HAVE A NEW RECRUIT TO EAST WOOD HIGHS SOCCER TEAM! INTRODUCING NICK! " Max yelled once more smirking with the rest of the team.

Everyone clapped and shouted with joy as our group rolled out eyes and continued eating like nothing just happened " he is kinda cute though " Sam said " says the one with a boyfriend! " I said to her laughing. She just mumbled

We all laughed as Matt, Sam's boyfriend sat down next to her and kissed her cheek " speaking of the devil " Ella laughed, Matt looked at her funny " it's nothing Matt Ella's just being a DORK " I said kicking Ella under the table " owe " she whined

The bell rang signalling that I had to go to Math, my least favourite subject... " we'll see you guys in an hour! " I said jogging to my locker where all my teammates surrounded. " excuse me " I said sternly, everyone stopped laughing and talking as I went over to my locker and put the code in. You see seeing a pissed Chloe is something everyone knows not to see. Especially my team.

" hey Chloe! " Nick said smiling. I just grabbed my math books and turned to them " I recommend you getting to class, wouldn't want that type of reputation on the first day " I spat venom clearly lacing my voice. I looked at max with a glance that said 'if you dare talk to me right now I won't be at practice' With that I quickly nudged passed them all and heading to Math 101, I heard Max " Nick there's something you should know about Chloe.. " ha just what I need.. Nick to bug me more..

I got myself situated and sat down and sharpened my pencil, waiting for class to start. Personally I was not a math person so I dreaded this class. Than I dreaded it even more when Nick came in..
