euphoric dreams and clouded streams

timothy went home to a room full of books covering the walls, clothes overflowing from her closet, and a bed with neatly folded bedsheets. 

and the boy, he went home to nothing. he had a room of course, but there was nothing in it. no books, few clothes, and a mattress sitting on the floor.
