My breathe became unsteady, as I tried my very best to conceal my presence. I covered my mouth, hoping to muffle the soft sound. I shut my eyes, focusing on the noises around me. I could hear the birds chirping, the squirrels scurrying, and the heavy foot steps of a large four-legged mammal. Heavy foot steps? I opened my eyes and searched the massive area. At the last minute, my eyes were lucky enough to catch sight of the colossal wolf headed straight for me. I quickly turned in the opposite direction and took off with amazing speed. Taking his size into consideration, he had to be a Beta. From which pack, I had no clue. I could hear his hardened paws, as they slammed against the debris covered pavement. I glanced back, only to find that he was hot on my trail. That moment, an idea came to mind. I attempted to take a sudden left turn down a random path, but instead tripped. My exposed skin scraped against small pebbles on the ground, bruising my tanned skin. I stayed on the ground, recovering from the harsh impact. Before I even had a chance to stand, hands roughly grasped my shoulders, forcing me to my feet.

"Let me go!" I immediately shouted, violently struggling against his strong hold. His finger nails dugged into my skin, as he dragged me back down the trail from which we came.

"Alpha Leonard, has ordered me to bring you to him." The nearly naked man explained. Alpha Leonard? I had no idea who he was, but then again, I really had no knowledge of the current Alphas. Suddenly, a black vehicle pulled into the clearing and parked on the side. This seem to grabbed the man's attention. Without wasting a moment, I elbowed him in the stomach, causing him to release me and double over in pain. I again tried to make a speedy escape.

"Stop, stay where you are." A husky voice commanded. His voice was not heard out loud, his voice echoed through my mind. My feet came to a sudden halt. I tried to force my body to move, but it was futile. No, I could not disobey his order. "Turn and face me." Doing as I was told with no hesitation, I turned and face him. He causally came towards me, his prepossessing amber eyes, eyed me obsessively. The overwhelming confidences that poured from him told me something very important. This man in front of me, was Alpha Leonard. I quickly averted my gaze and dropped it near his feet. How stupid of me to make eye contact. He had gotten so close that I could feel his breath, as it gently brushed against my black hair. "Look at me." I slowly rose my head, my nervous eyes meeting his stern ones. He placed his index finger under my chin, slightly lifting it to a higher position. He then cupped my face, turning my head to different angles. "Your name, what is it?"

"F-Flower, s-sir." He removed his hand, leaving behind an unceasing warm sensation. He grabbed my forearm and traced the bruises I had acquired earlier.

"A very fitting name indeed. How did you get these bruises?" I strayed from his gaze once more. He instantly grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"Running a-away f-from him." I said, pointing at the naked man, who was now standing, an angry expression planted on his face. Alpha Leonard glanced back at the man, before returning his gaze.

"My Beta?" I nodded. "Noah, come here." Leonard commanded the man. Beta Noah hesitantly came forward, using his hands to cover his private. "What was my exact order?"

"Sir, to retrieve the girl without harming her." Alpha Leonard turned and face him.

"You failed, she's covered in bruises."

"It's not my fault, she did that to her-" Before Beta Noah could finish that statement, Alpha Leonard had mercilessly punched Beta Noah in the face, so hard blood shot out from his nose. I watched in horror, as Beta Noah, fell to the ground, holding his face in agony. I backed away from Alpha Leonard, fearing what he might do to me. Alpha Leonard turned his attention back to me and reached out, taking my hand into his.

"You, the girl, who cannot shift into her wolf form. I have taken quite the interest in you."
