one;
*beep beep beep*
The sound of several monotonous beeps ring through your ears and signal you to awake up for the day ahead of you-
You've recently turned 19 and finally moved out of your childhood home into a decent sized appartment in a city a few hours away from your previous house in your small home town.
Although you were new to the area and weren't surrounded by the familiar faces that you were so used to, things were going pretty well. Your stacks of boxes were finally unpacked, your place was decorated the way you've always dreamed, you had some space to yourself for the first time in your life and your part time job at the nearby cafe wasn't too bad.
You've been working there for a little over a month and the staff there were always so nice, you were friends with one of your coworkers, Jungkook and not to mention the shop is just a few blocks away from where you live and a somewhat easy walk. That job however, is the thing that makes sure you're up and out of bed by 7am.
How lovely.
You let out a tired sigh.
Your heavy arm reaches onto your bedside table and finally silences the bothersome sound of your phone alarm going off beside you.
After laying in your soft covers for a minute, procrastinating and stretching, you spring up out of bed and make an attempt to start getting ready for work. You put your favourite playlist on shuffle and do all the usual things; shower, get dressed, do you hair and makeup ect.
You go to look at yourself in the mirror before you leave, just to flatten any loose hairs and make sure your eyeliner is decently even.
You sigh and exhale loudly and try to force yourself into a low effort smile. You finish lacing up your shoes, grab your shoulder bag and walk out the door, closing and locking it behind you.

As soon as you pull the key out of the lock of the door your phone sends vibrations along your hip; you reached your hand into your bag to grab it, both curious and a bit confused considering it was still fairly early.
Who's texting me at 7:45 in the morning?
You exhale and let a smile brush across your face when you read the notification. It was a stupid instagram video sent to you by one of your closest friends from back home, Ahlia.
Your fingers tap away at the screen as you dawdle down the hall way of your building with your eyes locked onto your phone, telling her about how much you miss her and how everything is going. A quiet chuckle leaves your mouth and a small grin forms on your face.
You turn a corner in the direction of the elevator, eyes still focussed on texting, when all of the sudden you almost walk dead smack into someone turning the corner at the same time as you.
You both jump back in shock. You flinch and close your eyes, holding both of your hands and your phone up to your face in defence.
You rebalance and unshield your face, lowering your hands and opening your eyes to see the stranger you almost collided with, camera dangling from a strap around his neck, bent over picking up multiple bags that you're assuming he dropped, it looks like he was surprised as well.
You were flustered and he seemed so too. Your eyes glance over this guy, watching him struggle a little bit. He was wearing a pair of slightly baggy black sweat pants and a black sweater with some writing on it, it sounded familiar,
"What are we going to do with all this future"
He was dressed messily but he didn't look bad, his hair was dyed a silver/grey colour and definitely caught your eye.
Although you've only recently moved, you've become familiar with some of the other people living in your building and you've made 'friends' with a few, but you've never seen this guy before.
The light seeping in through a nearby window rippled over his hair and reflected off of the multiple rings he wore on his fingers. You stood in front of him with your hands still pulled into your chest. You were kinda staring at him while he continued picking up his bags, not really aware of your gaze.
He scrambled around for a bit, he quickly picks up his bags and suddenly he looks up at you, with your hands still hovering slightly in front of your chest and your eyes still locked on him.
"M-my apologies, i didn't see you there-"
You awkwardly but quickly look away as he straightens up his posture and begins to apologise for startling you.
"It's okay, I-I was too busy looking at my phone-"
You force out a small laugh and re adjust your bag. He looks down and awkwardly laughs along with you for a second, flashing a warm grin. You feel your face going red and start to walk past him towards the elevator, scrunching your face up slightly at your awkwardness.
"H-hey!"
The stranger's deep voice calls out from behind you. You turn around so you're facing him once again. You look back at him with wide eyes, he hesitates for a second before smiling and calling out to you,
"Have a nice day!"
The kind remark brings a genuine and less awkward smile to your face, you nod back to him-
"You too!"
He bows slightly and turns around to walking walking to wherever he was going, a huge grin accompanying him. You notice the sweater he was wearing, you knew why it looked familiar.
gucci? seriosuly? who is this guy?
You smile and shake your head, finally stepping into the elevator. You return your attention back to your phone screen and are greeted with several messages from your friend who you accidentally left on read.
Oops.
