"Dude say your korean name again".
My bestfriend begs.
"Choi Hanbae".
She laughs.
"Vernon's".
She wouldn't stop laughing.
She always does this.
"Choi Hansol".
She drops her phone.
Causing me to pull a headphone out from the sound.
"HANSOLo".
She practically died from laughing so much.
"I don't even know how I put up with you".
Oh.
I should probably explain a bit.
Hi I'm Choi Hanbae.
Known as Ally Chwe.
Also known as Hansol's older sister.
And yes I mean Hansol aka Vernon Chwe from SEVENTEEN.
And the loser I am on the phone with, is my best friend Hong Gee, known as Grace, and Joshua Hong's sister.
Also another member of SEVENTEEN.
"Cause you love me? And you chose to accept my request".
She snickered.
"How much longer until you're here? I can't wait to finally see you in person"!
I smiled.
"Another hour at least".
I am currently on my way to Korea.
Once my family had moved from New York to Korea with Vernon when he was five, I stayed back with my grandmother, then moved to LA to go to school.
I graduated from UCLA in the dance program. I'm also in a popular group called Koreos.
So I am moving to Korea to surprise my family and finally meet my bestfriend of almost 7 years.
"Dude your train ride couldn't take any goddamn longer"?
She groaned.
"Don't let Joshua hear you use those sinful words".
I snickered.
"He's still trying to get me to go to church".
I could tell she was rolling her eyes.
"So you know your way to the Pledis building right"?
She was helping me surprise Vernon.
"I do, he's gonna be so happy to see you after so long".
I smiled.
"Not only do I get to see my brother after so long, I finally get to meet you".
I heard her squeal.
"I'm at the train station waiting, hurry up".
I was so happy.
After a while we hung up so I could charge my phone.
Soon it was time for me to get off the train.
I grabbed my bags from above me and waited for the train to stop.
Once the train stopped I got off and started looking for Grace.
"Choi Hanbae"!
I heard someone yell.
I turned to see my bestfriend.
"Hong Gee"!
We laughed as we ran to eachother.
I dropped my bags and hugged her.
"Oh my god I thought this was gonna be awkward but I'm just so happy to meet you"!
She smiled as she pulled back.
"I know, me too"!
We both laughed.
"Dino came along too".
She pointed towards a boy, walking over while putting his phone in his pocket.
"Hi, I'm Lee Chan, but you can call me Dino".
He smiled at me.
"Did you film it"?
She asked him.
He nodded.
"Nice to meet you Dino, I'm Choi Hanbae, you can call me Ally".
He smiled back at me.
"Vernon's older sister huh"?
He chuckled.
"Such a joy".
I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Dino is gonna drive us to Pledis".
I nodded as I grabbed my bags.
Grace then took one of them from me.
"Let me be a good bestfriend and carry one of them".
She chuckled.
We got to the car and drove to Pledis.
We talked about how I'm going to surprise Vernon.
She started talking about all of the other members.
One in particular caught my attention.
"Woozi"?
She nodded and showed me a picture.
Wow he's cute.
"Lee Jihoon".
She explained to me about how he's the producer of Seventeen, a leader of the vocal team, the shortest, and sleeps a hell of a lot.
"Wow, he's really dedicated".
I smiled.
"He's a really great guy, he'll like you, Grace has told me a lot about you".
Dino said and I looked at Grace.
"Don't worry I didn't say anything bad".
He chuckled.
"She told me about you graduating from UCLA in the dance program, how you're known in a popular dance cover group, and how good of a singer you are".
I smiled.
"Thanks".
She smiled at me and looked at Dino as he was driving.
I could tell by the way she was looking at him, that she might have feelings for the kid.
Time passed as we talked more about the group and we made it to Pledis.
"Ready"?
Dino and Grace asked me.
"As ready as I'll ever be. Do you think he'll recognize me"?
Grace put a hand on my shoulder.
"He will, you and him look alike".
Dino said.
"You're older and hotter, but he'll recognize you".
I chuckled at her comment.
"Well".
Dino said as we walked up to the entrance.
"Let's do this".
I let out a shaky breath and walked inside with Grace and Dino.
