Chapter 3

Zach's P.O.V.

  I was so relieved that Kelsey finally answered me. And I couldn't wait to see her again tomorrow, so I went straight to bed after texting her. I woke up around eight and realized Kelsey and I hadn't set a time to be at Starbucks.

Texts with Kelsey (Z=Zach, K=Kelsey)

Z:Hey, what time are we meeting at Starbucks?

K:Does ten work for you?

Z:Yeah, see you then.

K:See you then.

*time skip*

  As I was about to walk out of the hotel, all the other boys saw me.

  "Where are you going?" Daniel asked me.

  I decided it would be quicker and I'd be able to leave sooner if I told the truth.  So I simply said,  "Starbucks."

  "Oh, cool, can we go too? I could really use some coffee right now," Jonah said.

  I checked the time, and realising I'd be late if I didn't leave soon, I agreed and we all got an Uber to Starbucks. I texted Kelsey to say that they were coming with me.

Texts with Kelsey

Z: Hey, the guys are coming to Starbucks with me.

K: Okay..... why?

Z: I told them I was going and they decided to come with me.

K: Okay.

I looked up from my phone and saw we were there. We payed then went inside and got in line to order. The line moved pretty fast and we got out drinks fast too.

  Once we got our drinks, I found Kelsey and sat at the table she was at.

  "Hey Kelsey," I said, and she looked up from her phone.

  "Hi, she mumbled with a small, sad smile.

  As I was about to ask her what was wrong, the boys came over being obnoxious.

  "There's a park near here, right Kelsey?" I asked.

  "Yeah, why?"

  "Let's go take a walk there,  I wanna talk to you. "

  "Okay.....?"

  So I told the boys I would get an Uber back to the hotel. Kelsey and I then left and started walking.

  After about five minutes of comfortable silence, we reached the park and I decided to break the silence.

  "So, how have you been?" I asked.

  "Okay," she replies uninterestingly.

  After my failed attempt at conversation, we continued to walk in silence. Suddenly, the question I've been too shy to ask Kelsey for the past two years comes tumbling out of my mouth.

  "Kelsey, will you be my girlfriend?" J ask, speaking as fast as possible.

  "What?" she asks.

  I stop, turn to look at her, and grab both of her hands in mine.

  "Kelsey, I've loved you since the day we met. Only two years ago did I realize what it was I was feeling. And just now, I finally built up the courage to ask to..... will you be my girlfriend?"

  "I don't know, Zach," my heart broke as she spoke, "you're gonna be on tour so much. And you already basically forgot about me once, who says you won't do it again? Plus, you have so many girls practical throwing themselves at you, you could so easily leave me for one of them. One who's so much prettier than me," she was almost in tears now, and looking down at our entwined hands.

  I used one hand and gently tilted her head up so she was looking at me.

  "There are so many things wrong with what you just said. One, I am NOT letting tour get between us again. Two,  I never forgot you, and I never could.  You we on my mind 24/7 while I was away. Three, those girls are nothing compared to you. For, I could never leave you for someone prettier than you, because they don't exist, and I love you," as I finished speaking, we both began to lean in. Or lips met, and it was one of the best moments of my life.

  Too soon, Kelsey pulled away, "yes," she whispered, just loud enough to be heard.

  "What?" I asked, confused.

  "I'll be your girlfriend, Zach. And I love you too," she said, louder this time.

  I immediately pulled her into my arms, and we hugged each other tightly.

  "I love you so much," I whispered in her ear.

  Heeeeyyyy!!!! I updated finally!!

  I've been really lately, plus I've had homework and stuff so I didn't get much written until tonight.
