Chapter 6: Last Day And Supplies

Start from the beginning

"Dad, that's not- no. I know what you're thinking, it's not-"

"Let's go, Alexander." Alex gave me an apologetic look, trailing after his very tall father, who kept his eyes on me the whole time.

So that's probably how Alex can speak French so fluent, because it's possible his father was from there.

I noticed Alex had gotten a little bit taller over the summer, but nothing really changed about him. He still had his welcoming blue eyes, his jaw-length blonde hair pinched with streaks of brown.

I frowned, knowing I couldn't tell him about my dreams until tomorrow.

"-Lia, Olivia are you there?" I snapped back as Remus waved a hand in my face, chuckling.

I honestly forgot he was here.

"Remus!" I greatly accepted the hug, smiling widely. I let go of him and stood on my tip toes, ruffling his brown hair.

"No! You're tall now, too," I frowned, beginning to smile slightly.

"Now all we're missing is Pete, where is he anyway?" James looked around, trying to find Peter.

"Maybe he's not here. You know how he is, always gets his stuff early,"

"Or maybe he's just lost,"

"Maybe. It's been known to happen before."

"Or maybe he's just not here." I replied, causing them to be quiet.

I turned around, and saw Sirius with an expression I couldn't read. "Hey, why so Sirius?" I chuckled

"Not the time, Olivia." He growled slightly, glaring behind me. Olivia? He never calls me Olivia, maybe because I don't like it when he says 'Olivia'. Just Lia. . . Or Gorgeous.

I turned around, my smile appearing again. But then I realized, Reggie was here with his family.

Oh.

"We can go if you want, I don't have to talk to him right now-"

He let an animalistic growl from the back of his throat, which I only rolled my eyes at.

"Fine. I'll talk to him tomorrow, let's go before he turns full dog mode." There were a few chuckles from the boys, but Sirius glanced at me and crossed his arms.

"Fine. Let's go."

"That's what I just said," I glared at him.

"Not here! We can't burn Madam Malkin's store down, either!" James and Remus pulled us outside, sighing of annoyance.

"Let's find Mum so we can go home," James nodded towards us. "Let's use the buddy system so we don't get lost, right, Remus?"

"Absolutely," A slight smirk appeared on Remus' scarred face.

What are they up to?

James connected his hand with mine, and Remus with Sirius. "Well, connect hands or we'll lose each other!"

I glared at Sirius, and he glanced at me. I harshly grabbed his hand in mine, remembering to murder James and Remus later.

I became I bit loosened up as we started walking, my anger disappearing a little.

Sirius must have been the same, because he didn't look like an evil dog anymore.

"Why so Sirius?" A grin appeared on his face, as he playfully glared at me. I giggled as he started laughing.

"Okay, I'll give you that one. That was good," I felt him properly wrap his fingers with mine, intwined together.  He glanced at me to see if I was okay with it, and I nodded.

The familiar stupid knot twisted in my stomach again, this weird tingling sensation coursing through me.

But a cold breeze flew by, explaining it. Maybe it's just that.

At the corner of my eye, I saw James smirk at Remus, giving him a high five.

We found Euphemia to go home, and Remus bid us goodbye. Mia sent me a weird smile, glancing down at my hand. Oh, my hand. . .

"Oh. Sorry. I didn't realize I was still holding on," I let go of Sirius' slender hand, but all he did was smile.

He's been smiling a lot today. . . .
