I began tucking him in bed. As i kiss him on the forehead and turn to leave he calls out,"Daddy! Check for monsters under my bed." I chuckle and tell him there's no such thing as I look underneath his bed with an amused smile.
My smile quickly disappears as I see my son, another son, under the bed, quivering and shaking,"Daddy..." he whispers. The hair on the back of my neck stand up."There's somebody on my bed!"
