Lahat ng gustong sumali sa contest na ito ay kailangang miyembro ng Wattpad Artista Academy. Participants should also be a Wattpad member BEFORE APRIL 2014.
Kung ikaw ay miyembro ng Wattpad nang April 1, 2014, hindi ka puwedeng sumali. Intindihin guys, ah. Gamitin natin ang coconut natin at matutunong magbasa. Importante iyan, salamat.
MECHANICS:
Sa mga willing na sumali, gusto naming malaman ninyo na dalawang rounds lang po ang itatakbo ng ating pa-contest. Ang mga mababasa po ninyo sa ibaba ang mga dapat ninyong sundin at gawin upang makasali.
1. PICK A GENRE AND WRITE.
Para sa first round, ang mga contestant ay kailangang magsumite o magsulat ng isang short story sa kahit anong kategorya na: ROMANCE, ACTION, HORROR, FANTASY AT INSPIRATIONAL/ SPIRITUAL. The short story that you’re going to pass must be original and new. Meaning, hindi pa dapat ito naii-post sa kahit anong site.
Sa second round naman po, kami ang magbibigay ng genre na kailangan ninyong gawan ng short story. Huwag mag-alala, isang genre lamang po ang aming ibibigay para sa lahat ng makaka-advance sa next round.
The deadline of submission for ROUND 1 entries will be on May 16, 2014. That’s two weeks from now. And to send your entry, write in the subject part the genre of your story and your Wattpad username
Ex. ROMANCE – maganda_ako

2. 3,000 WORD LIMIT, EXCLUDING THE TITLE.
Sa makatuwid, kailangang gumawa kayo ng short story na hindi lalampas sa tatlong libo (3,000) na mga salita or word limit. Excluded o hindi kasali ang title sa word count. Kapag ang ipinasa ninyo ay 3,001, this will result to your termination or disqualification. Huwag ipagpilitan ang gusto, okay?
3. NO EMOTICONS
Bawal ang may mga emoticons. Lahat ng ipapasa ninyong entry ay susuriin naming mabuti at kapag may nakita kami kahit isang emoticon, this again, will result to disqualification. Let’s practice professionalism.
4. ALLOWED LANGUAGES

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Originality and creativity — 20%
Adherence to the given genre — 15%
Grammar, correct usage of punctuation marks — 15%
Content and Plot — 50%
Kung mapapansin ninyo ay walang percentage ang votes. We figure that it is better this way para malaman talaga natin kung sino ang mga karapat dapat manalo. Gusto ko lang ding ipaalam na sa bawat kategorya ay may tatlong naka-assign na hurado.
We’re also going to adopt the BLIND AUDITION. After each round namin ire-reveal ang identity ng mga kasali pati na ang mga entry nila.
