Why Me?

Mia POV

"Argh! My head!" I woke up and I just got this major headache. I look around. Where am I? What is this place?

"You're at Verzaubert Akademie's nurse office." shocked to hear a voice, I quickly turn my head to look. But no one was there. "Here I'm down here" I heard a tiny voice.
"Eeks!" "Oh don't be scared. I'm not a mouse. Hihi" there stood a tiny little fairy smiling at me. I poke it's head a little. "Ouch why did you do that?" she pouted while holding her head.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I just wanna check whether you're the real thing or just a robot." she then gasp,loudly and she was looking very angry. "That's quite rude. I'm no freaking robot. See! Robots don't have wings like mine." she then crossed her arms and pouted some more.

If I were an animation right now, everybody could see that my nose has bleed. Kawai alert!

"I see that you have awake." Instantly I look up and see a beautiful lady wearing a doctor's coat looking at a chart of some kind. I just stare at her. She notice me staring and just smile.
'Why is my heart is thumping so loudly?' what can I say, I never see any bautiful person than her.
Well other than Lucy of course.

"I'm suprised that a human like you can see little Lyla over there. Most humans can't see them. And only a selected kinds can see them." she explained.

I look at Lyla. She smiles at me and fly until she reaches at my point view. "What's your name?" she ask me." I'm Mia Adams." she smiles and hold her tiny little hands infront of me. "Mia,that's a nice name. You and I will be friends now."I hold a finger to her and we shook our hands.

"By the way Mia, you can go to your class after I have done checking your chart here." said the doctor.

"Umm... What class? I'm not even a student here. I don't even know what place is this. Plus I don't know where I am right now." the doctor just sighed. "Well someone might be here to explain it. She will be right here in three...two...one." than the door open making me startled a bit. "What?!!" you really need to know why I am suprise. First, the doctor and little Lyla suddenly bow to the person. And secondly, it's my mom?!!

"Thank you doc for all the help." the doctor smile and bow even more."It is my duty Ma'am." Wait, did I heard she called my mom Ma'am?! "And you Lyla, thank you for using your magic on her. You must be tired aren't you Lyla?" "Oh Ma'am you're flattering me. It was nothing. After all me and Mia are friends,right?"she turn to look at me. I nodded and smile. "I shall reward you too. I promise." the two of them were extremely happy.

Then she turn to look at me."Can you two give us a few moments please?"she ask them not even turn her head. I see the two of them quickly give us some space.

Because I am still on the bed,I can't move much. She then sits next beside me. There was a lot of question going on in my mind.
Who is she? Is she really my mom? What is this place? Where am I?

"I know there are a lot of question you want to ask me about." I turn to look at her.' How the heck did she know?'
"I still can hear you Mia. Didn't I ever tell you that I can read your mind?" "Well you did tell me once but I thought that was a joke." she laugh at me and say" oh Mia. You know I never tell you a lie right?"

"And from all you're question just now,I will answer only one."
For once,I am speechless. She then got up and went to the window. She opens the curtain. Now I see a beautiful scenery laid in front of my eyes. It was different from the city. Then she opens the windows widely. The cold and fresh air entered in the room. I could feel the coldness and the freshness of the air.

Just about I was enjoying myself, my mom pluck her finger to get my attention."My dear Mia..."
I look at her. She smile and spread her arms wide.

"Welcome to Verzaubert Akademie!"
