Missing

When They Start... (Part I)

In Seoul, South Korea, a young man named Kim Junmyeon was walking down the street to school.  He was ready to start the day as a dark, black van drove really slowly beside him.  Curious, he started walking towards it slowly but the van drove away as fast as it could.  So then, he continued his journey onward towards the Korea National University of Arts...

Wu Yifan woke up at 5 am.  He got his clothes and shoes on before he left the house.  After the second break at school, he had basketball.  But as he was walking to the gymnasium, he saw a black van cruising around his school he had once seen on school grounds before...

"Jongdae-ah! Stop singing!" Kim Jongdae's classmates yelled, "Your voice is too loud!" But even after his classmates yelled, Jongdae laughed and sang louder than before.  Suddenly, his class was struck by his voice.  They stopped and he kept singing.  Someone from across his seat was filming him.  Then the teacher walked in and he had to stop immediately and they all stood up from their seats.  Except today, they had a substitute teacher.

"You have a nice voice there, young man,"

Chanyeol was dreaming of having the future of a successful man.  He dreamt of him in the future as a great actor and a powerful singer with cool rapping skills.

Park Chanyeol was at home after school playing his musical instruments; his guitar, piano, drum, and bass.  He looked out of the window as he was getting a short snack.  There was a black van droning across the street.

"Hyung," Byun Baekhyun said to his older brother, Baekbeom, "Come play a game with me!" Baekbeom jumped up and ran to Baekhyun's room and tackled him to the ground.  "Shouldn't you be studying since you want to become a singer?" Baekbeom said.

"Nah, I've already studied last night," Baekhyun replied, "Today is a day we spend time together as brothers!" Baekbeom hesitated but went with it anyway.

"Fine," - Baekhyun leapt in the air from his bed - "But just for tonight, though."

Jongin stretched from his bed in the morning in the weekend.  His mother called him from downstairs to have breakfast.  When he came down, she was washing the dishes.

"Eomma, what are we having today?" He asked his mother.

"Today," She started. "We will be having everything that is on your plate." She continued washing the dishes and paused. "You said you wanted to become a star, right?"

Kim Jongin looked up from his food and replied. "Yes..." He was curious now. "Why?"

"Well," His mother said. "I got a call earlier..."
