Finally a home

'Oh come on Neo you are so good at making friends. You can do it again. This is the last time.' She sounded like she was goig to burst into tears. Her eyes were already filled with an ocean ready to break loose and drown any decision I ever made. She blackmails me like this everytime but this time it's really unfair. My last year in school should not be disturbed because my mom feels like she can't stay in one place for just ten more months.
'Let me live in the hostel then you can go there. Mma please.'

'It's the first term and they have a school there that you can go to. It's also a private school so it won't be very different.' Her shaky voice reminded me of everytime we had this very conversation.
She always made us move. I have never in my life stayed in the same town for more than two years. I have lived in about seven different towns in four provinces. It's different this time. I have a reason to stay in Krugersdorp.

My reason a soft skinned model faced beauty with eyes that could make you do anything. Walking with her down the streets would make a beggar the envy of every man in town. Tiegan was the prettiest girl in town and she was mine. All mine.

'Mma you go I'll visit during the holidays.' I knew regardless of what I say I had lost the argument. I was going to leave Krugersdorp for Mosselbay.

Only a week later we were on our way to Mosselbay. Tiegan and I said we'd try to make it work with tbe distance but I doubted it would. Tiegan was not exactly the type of girl to wait longer than the school holidays. I had been in Krugersdorp for 11 months and I was starting to like it. Of course mom had to make us move again.

We got to a quiet neighbourhood in Mosselbay. It was similar to where we stayed in Krugersdorp just greener. On our way we drove past the school. It was big and freakishly clean. I mean it was early March schools were still ongoing. I hated this place already.

"We are finally home sweetie." Mom's voice was filled with excitement. I just gave her one flat look and she smiled and carried on. "This is our house. I bought it, it's not rented."
