Behind the door was the strangest looking library I have ever seen. The books are all randomly arranged and covered in dust. Nevertheless, the gruesome-looking eyes and mouths of the wall continued into the room. The path in front of her seemed endless, making her annoyed at the size of the place. As she walked, the eyes continued following her and the mouth laughs every once in a while when she switched directions. Her eyes caught sight of the classic Romeo and Juliet, reminding her of the Juliet that she met at the Nightmares quarters. Hollee laughed at the conversation they had.
"The day I woke up was the day everything changed. Do you know how shocked I was when Carden told me the life I have been living? Love at first sight and going through all that for a stupid impulsive guy? How embarrassing!"
It was very strange talking to a character you have been learning about in school; even more strange when she got angry at her own stupidity. Romeo and Juliet separated for a while after gaining their freedom to try and find their true selves. With time, Romeo found himself falling in love again with Juliet and they got together. Of course, Juliet did not make his pursue easy for him, as she's now a strong, independent woman with her own idea about the future.
Another laugh from one of the mouths on the wall brought her back to reality. Realizing she was getting nowhere in this library, she let out a sigh.
"You okay?" Vinn asked from the transmitter.
"Yeah, this place is just too big, but I will figure something out," I said, shaking my head to clear it. "I need some thinking time." The library distracted me from the fact that I was angry at him.
"You and your thinking time," I could almost see him rolling his eyes at me, "I'm almost done over here so don't take that much time."
"Got it," I replied and muted the group chat.
Going through everything that happened since I entered this room, I shut my eyes, trying to focus.
I raised my eyebrows when I finally found something.
'The mouths on the walls stopped talking and laughed at me a lot less than when I was walking down the hallway outside and when I was at the Joker's Garden.
In fact, the mouths only laugh when I change the direction I am going.'
Running to an intersection created by the tall bookshelves, I tried walking towards all four directions. The only time the mouths were silent was when I pretended to turn left.
Confirming my hypothesis, I continued walking through the library with confidence. After a while, my eyes caught sight of a single computer. The bookshelves formed a circle around it. I quickly unmute the group chat and called for Vinn cheerfully.
"Vinn! I got it!" I said when I suddenly remembered that I was angry at him. "Who is incompetent now, huh? I'm going to read all of your secrets in your book now! You are going to regret letting me come here."
"Good job," he said straightforwardly as usual, as if he had nothing to be ashamed of or be embarrassed about. I could imagine his stoic face as he said those words. No wonder everything he says sounded either rude or sarcastic. He should be grateful that I stood by his side.

"Trust me a little more," I mumbled to myself a little afterward.
Knowing that I could not see him, Vinn smiled.
Because he did, actually, believe in her.
