And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high
And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high

Lauren sat with her best friend on the top of a stranger's roof, sure there were going to get caught. However, she didn't care anymore.

She threw her head back, laughing at a joke Lucy made, blowing smoke out of her mouth.

Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high

"You know, I have no idea why he'd ever dump you," Lucy spoke before releasing smoke out of her mouth. "You're perfect."

Lauren shrugged, taking another hit. She pretended not to care, for the sake of her friend, but man did it hurt.

Girl, what's your problem

Ty shouted at her, growing sick of how she'd been acting lately. She had been going out more often, and without him.

I mean, he's only a worried boyfriend, right?

Cause I know it's hard sometimes, baby just give it some time
Oh honey now girl, we can solve them

"Ty, I cannot do this anymore. I'm sick of not being okay, and I need to focus on me."

If you just give me some time, I can open up your mind
If you let it shine, you can free your mind
Cause I know

"How do you think I feel, dating a mentally unstable person? You need serious help."

And that was that. He walked out, dropping Lauren's already-broken heart onto the ground, not even watching it cripple and slowly evaporate into nothingness.

And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high
And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high

"He just left, how could he do that?" Lauren whispered, letting her guard down to Lucy, tears shining in her emerald eyes.

"I know, babes, I know. He's.. he's not worth it," The brunette replied, holding her and caressing her hair. Lauren was so thankful for such an amazing best friend.

And now I'm so high
Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high

Lauren stumbled into the bar, still coming down from her high after departing with Lucy. They, of course, got caught by the homeowners and were asked to leave the property.

She headed over to where the drinks were, beginning to down alcohol, not even caring about what she was grabbing for. She was officially done and wanted the pain to go away, even if it was just for a night.

Girl, if it's done right
Well you know it's got to be something wonderful to me
Oh honey now girl, give it one night
If you just give it a chance, loving you is not my plan
Cause I know one day you'll see
All the things that we can be
And I know

Lauren smacked the no-lipped boy across the face, making sure it stung. Yeah, she just a bit tipsy, but she was still aware of the pervs of the club.

Disgusting, she scoffed, walking out of the club and, on first instinct, calling Lucy to pick her up. Of course, on the way outside, she was tripping over the moving feet of drunks dancing. She giggled, remembering that she, herself is drunk.

And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high
And now that it's over, I'll never be sober
I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high

The raven-haired girl wasn't sure how she had gotten home until Lucy walked into the room, still a bit high, setting a trashcan, a glass of water, and some Advil near the girl.

"Go to bed, hun, I'll be in the next room," Her best friend whispered and kissed her on the forehead, her eyes fluttering shut.

Sleep over took her, but she knew this was something she had to deal with soon enough.

Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high

And now I'm so high
And now I'm so high
And now I'm so high

Now I'm so high
Now I'm so high
Now I'm so h i g h . . .
