Lemon's POV

I ran and ran as fast as my four legs could take me, I flew by trees upon trees that just looked like green specks. I did not feel tired at all but happy that I could run so freely.

I spotted a stream near by and I started to slow down. As I approached the stream I could see my lake friends down in the bottom.

My mom said I was special and that I could see pixies, mermaid's and every other magical being, but I was the only one.

I tried to call out to my friend's but they had swam away not seeing me. I was going to start running again but, darkness soon crowded my vision.

I knew what was happening I was waking up, this happened every night. My dreams would be so vivid I would think that they were real. I was going to try to force myself asleep again but my eyes shot open.

The piercing light of the sun made me shut my eyes quickly.

"Up,up your going to be late for school." I knew that voice anywhere it was the sound of my mother's voice.

"Just five more minuet's mom." I begged her to let me sleep in more. It wasn't my fault I was up late it was my pixie friend Hannah, she had just got back from visiting her parent's and kept me up all night talking about her trip.

Me being a nice person I am, did not interrupt her once.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw my mom snapping her finger in front of my face. "Hello Lemon dear, are you there?" She asked.

"Yes, yes I am listening." I said quickly snapping out of my thoughts.

"Okay well hurry up, your dad is leaving in 20 minuets." She said and left my room.

I groaned and got out of my bed. I am not a morning person but a night owl, I could stay up all night but, could never wake up in the morning.

I did not realize it but I was staring at the wall day dreaming for 5 minuets. Gosh what was wrong with me.

Now I only had 15 minuets left. I quickly hopped in the shower and  washed my hair also. The time I got out of the shower I had 5 minuets left.

I dried myself of in record time and quickly brushed my teeth. At least I picked out my clothes the night before or else I would defiantly going to be late.

After changing into my clothes I put my hair into bun still damp and grabbed my bag. I did not really wear make up that much only on special occasions.

As I made my way down to the pack kitchen  I bumped into one of the kids.

"Hey lulu lemon." Lucy, one of the pack orphan's said.

"Hey Lucy lu, ready for your first day of grade 1." I asked her. Today all the pack kids and teenager's were starting school. Today is Lucy's first day.

"Yep, all ready." She said giving me a toothy grin.

"Alright I better get going, or else I am going to be late.

"Okay see ya." She said and ran of deeper into the house.

As I entered the kitchen, a shortcut to get to the front door my mom stopped me.

"Forgetting something?" She asked tapping her foot.

"By mom." I replied knowing that I almost forgot.

"Nope not that." She looked at me expecting me to say the correct answer when in all honesty I had no clue.

"I love you." I guessed hoping that was what she was waiting for.
