Friends? You have so many yet you have none.
When you're a child, you never knew who the real friend is; you know now. A friend can be a blessing or a curse. He can change you or destroy you 'cause you never know who the real friend is here.
Not being biased or contradictory, the ones who have them are blessed, exponentially blessed. But what if I don't? What if you don't have one?
Alone time is not hard to find. Being lonely can be dangerous sometimes. A person tends to think more, become more observant. While observing others, he tends to lose hope in his own story.
Being in a circle of people where they accidently start caring and looking out for each other without even realising when is the most utterly adorable feel. Cliché? Yes, but worth it.
Some end in haste, some end in petty arguments, some in ego, some in distance but some do grow old. We never know which one is the one for forever. Who will hold on to you till the end?
Made promises about not leaving them? At one point we all do. We feel vulnerable and utterly lost, make them promise to not let go. But are they - the ones who made promises, still with you? If the answer is no, then you have more to discover, more to venture out to be content. This ain't the end.
The friendships that end too abruptly are the ones that made fake promises. More than fake, they were empty. The feelings, the bondings, the need to talk - long gone and forgotten. What remains is the empty promise. An empty promise that is - to never leave you.
But aren't you happy, for you left them back or do you still hang on to it? A smile is sure to come when you look back at those days back when we were kids. Those memories won't fade away soon, won't die. Those keep us young.
You move on. People move on. No one is the same, atleast they think they have changed. Moving on to new people has become so ordinary. Do you think you can trust this new one enough, again?
But this time, you don't make any promise, any empty promise. You know this will be etched on and on. You believe or atleast hope for it, a better ending.
