Yuta stepped closer until he was pressing against Taeyong's knees.

Taeyong had nowhere else to go except backwards onto the couch, which was just fine with Yuta.

"It's too true I've never looked at you until this morning, I won't deny it. That is something I'll just have to live with."

Taeyong rolled his eyes, leaning back dangerously far.

"How could I have seen you when you took so much trouble to never stand out, you little wallflower. Bookworms aren't known for trying to bring a lot of attention to themselves. But this morning when you stood in the hallway wearing practically nothing, you had nowhere to hide. You have no idea how many delightful fantasies have been running around in my head since I opened the door this morning to see you standing there, practically begging to be thrown into a bed and eaten alive."

Taeyong's eyes wide, he didn't even try to fight the blush. He was beginning to feel like his face might never be its normal color again, ever.

He never felt this flustered around girls!

What the hell was so different with guys that they could push all of his buttons anytime they wanted?

"I was not," he said outraged.

Yuta leaned in, bracing a hand on the back of the couch. Taeyong was leaning back from him so far one good push and he'd be lying on the couch.

"Oh, but you are."

Taeyong gulped audibly. The shower went off upstairs and he nearly laughed with relief.

Yuta glanced up at the ceiling.

"I should have known your protector was here."

"He's not my-"

Taeyong started to say indignantly, but was cut off when Yuta grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into a dominating kiss.

Taeyong pushed at him as Yuta's tongue invaded his mouth, but he found that struggling was useless.

Yuta's grip was firm enough that he wasn't going anywhere until Yuta decided he could.

Only when they could hear Jaehyun coming down the stairs did Yuta release him.

"Mmm," Yuta said, licking his lips as Taeyong fell backwards onto the couch and glared up at him.

He'd never been kissed so much in his entire life as he had in the last two days!

What the hell was going on?

Did he have a sign on his forehead saying, 'Kiss me, it's okay if you're not a girl'? Damn!

"Taeyong? Where did you go?"

Taeyong rolled off the couch as though it had burned him when he heard Jaehyun's voice.

Hurriedly whipping at his mouth, he took several steps back from Yuta. For some reason, he couldn't stand the thought of Jaehyun having found out that Yuta had kissed him.

Jaehyun came around the corner into the living room and sighed.

It was fairly obvious what had happened with the way Yuta was smiling innocently, (he'd never been innocent a day in his life) and the way Taeyong kept taking unconscious steps backwards with slightly panicked eyes and his swollen lips evidence to a recent attack on them.

His eyes never leaving Taeyong, he said, "What are you doing here?"

Yuta shrugged and flopped onto the seat.

"Oh, nothing. I was just asking Taeyong what had happened to his eye. I don't remember that being there this morning."

"Ah, is that all?"

Not liking the way the conversation was going at all, Taeyong headed for the stairs.

"I'll see you guys later. I've go to get to class."

Jaehyun grabbed his arm as he passed by him.

"You okay?"

Taeyong gave a dry laugh and bit his tongue.

What he really wanted to say was, 'No, of course I'm not okay! Do I look okay? Has anything happened in the last two days given you any indication that I am okay right now?'

Instead, he just said his standard that usually would pacify people, his father included.

"I'm fine."

"Bad liar."

Jaehyun gave him an encouraging smile and let him go.

He watched Taeyong bound up the stairs and listened for the closing door of his room.

When he heard it, knowing Taeyong was momentarily out of hearing, he turned to Yuta.

"What the hell do you think you are doing here, Yuta?"

"Simply being a good friend."

"Hah! You're never a good friend unless there's something in it for you."

Yuta laughed, letting his head fall back onto the couch as he spread out.

"You know me too well, my friend. Too well."

Jaehyun walked over to stand before him, his arms crossed.

"Yes, I do, Yuta. And that's why I want you to stay away from Taeyong."

Yuta looked up at him, an evil gleam in his eyes.

"What, you think that just because you broke him in, you get to keep him?"

Jaehyun said nothing; he didn't have to as the answer was written on his face.

Of course he wanted to keep Taeyong all to himself. But more than that, he wanted to keep someone like Yuta away from his Taeyong.

"Ah, I see. Well, my friend, as I said before, you know me all to well. Therefore you should know that as I respect your request, there is no way I'll ever follow it. Taeyong is simply too delectable for me to simply walk away from him. No, I think I'll try my hand at showing him what man can do for him. He still has so much to learn."

"I'm-"

Jaehyun cut off as he heard Taeyong coming down the stairs again.

He watched as Taeyong bounded down the last couple of steps, favoring his right foot, threw a backward glace at them, and walked out the front door carrying his books and notes for his next class.

Jaehyun turned back to Yuta.

"I'm warning you, Yuta, leave Taeyong alone."

Yuta stood up almost nose-to-nose with Jaehyun.

"Or you'll what? Beat me?"

"Don't tempt me."

"You don't scare me, Jaehyun, my boy. You never did and you never will. You've never minded playing for the affection of boys before with me. The fact that this one seems special to you makes him all the more enthralling to me."

Leaning in, Yuta smirked.

"See you around, Jung Jaehyun. May the best will win."

Yuta's laugh seemed to echo around in Jaehyun's head, even long after he'd left.

"Damn it!"
