When life had meaning

The pain inside i tried to hide
Is something that most cannot find
But you unlocked my broken heart
And gave my life another start

I walked the halls but never saw

That creature of most splendid awe.

But now you're mine and i am yours

As we row on with broken ores

The world has no room for the likes of me..

But in your heart is where i can be.

You give me refuge and for that know

I could never forget you or leave you alone

Through all the pain you feel inside

I swear i'll always be by your side

Till on that day when we must part

I hope to god it's by death's art

That through this life may we not go

And break the things we love the most

This poem i write for your eyes only
That you may know you don't have to be lonely\

I will hold you if you let me

And in my arms is where you'll be

The world no longer has the right

To allow this pain or keep this fight

In my arms i hope you'll stay

And i'll protect you everyday
