Never gets a break
From this life in denial
It seemed like she had a cycle of emotions.
One day she would be happy. Then sad. Then happy again.
One time she actually decided to say what was wrong.
"My parents have been fighting for a while. It seems like they hate me. My dad doesn't treat me right and my mom ignores me. Also, some people have been pretty mean to me. It like I never get a break from life. Did I tell you I get anxiety?"
"No." I answered simply.
"Well there is that too." She tried to smile at me then walked away.
She sounded tired.
