Abducted

1. Icecream

The sun was brighter than ever and a warm Virginia breeze whispered through my hair. Bonnie skipped next to me.

"Its so hot!" Bonnie complained.

"Agreed," I said. I had just run up and down a soccer field about a bazillion times. Bonnie too. A whymsical kind of music danced through the air.

"Icecream!" Bonnie screamed, "Can we get some? Please!"

"Fine," I said, raising my hand to signal stop. The white truck came to a stop. A man in a white hat opened the little vendor door. "Hello," I said, the man nodded a hello back. "I'd like two icecreams, one vanilla and,"

"Chocolate!" Bonnie yelled. The man smiled and nodded.

"You need to go around back to get it." the guy said. I nodded and he shut his window. I stepped around the back of the truck. This didn't feel right.

"Hang back," I whispered to Bonnie. She gave me a thumbs up. I hung around the corner. Bonnie stood behind me. A man opened the door and stepped out. He gave a confused noise as I screamed , "BONNIE, RUN!" I grabbed her arm and took off. There were two men on our heels. My heart was pounding against my ribs. I pulled Bonnie into an alley. "Hide!" I hissed. Bonnie crouched next to a huge dumpster and I grabbed a broken pipe to defend us. I could hear Bonnie's terrified squeaks. The men came pounding down the alley. I swung and smashed the pipe into one of the men's heads. He screamed in agony as he fell down. I turned around to face the second man. He grabbed the end of my pipe and ripped it out of my hands. Bonnie screamed. The man slammed the pipe into my side. All the wind in my body escaped. He grabbed my crumpling body around the waist and grabbed Bonnie's arm. He dragged us to the truck. The man threw us in.

"Shut up!" he growled. He smacked Bonnie. "I am Derik." he said as he pulled out duct tape. I scooted back but Derik grabbed my arm with a creepy smile. He pulled me forward and layed silver tape across my mouth. Bonnie stared in pure fear. Derik bound my hands behind my back and did the same to Bonnie. After that we picked up the other man from the alley. We drove hours and hours. The entire time Bonnie craddled up against me, shaking in fear. God help us!
