he shouldn't have even went near aidan.
he should've ignored him. he should've pretended like aidan didn't exist. he should've pretended like the minimal kisses and talks from last week had meant nothing. he should've destroyed the soccer player's concerns and emotions so things would be easier.
but he didn't.
he didn't because aidan is one of the only people that understands. aidan is the only thread that everett is holding onto.
