Too bad summer was over I had a really good time with Jake I wished it wouldn't end so I smiled when he said that he had a good time too. When we aren't at school it's all perfect cause when we are people stare at me and tell me that Jake and I shouldn't be friends cause Jake is a really popular guy and I'm just a nerd, that we're so different we both know we're different but that's okay with us, but here in winter haven they just won't accept that a nerd like me and a jock like him can be best friends. Jake is captain of the football team. I watch every game they play not because I'm a stalker or anything like that. Its because I work for the school paper. I know that he works really hard for what he has, now all he needs is the perfect girl

Putting my things in my locker I saw Ria and Drake

"Hey Allie, how was your summer with Jake?" Asked Ria and Drake at the same time

I said "hey, I missed both of you so much!" As I hugged each of them tightly

"Yeah we missed you a lot too." Drake said before giving me another hug

I missed them so much. They love me even if they know my secret.

Then I told them about what Jake and I did for the summer

"Aww that's so sweet" Ria said

Drake just grinned a bit but it wasn't a real one. I know something is off but I'll ask him later

Ria and Drake found out that I liked Jake by the time we reached eight grade

I think that Drake likes Ria cause they've been best friends even before they met me cause I only moved to the village where Jake was living when I was sixth grade then Jake and I became friends then best friends.

The bell rings

"I have to get to class, bye guys!" I gave them quick hugs then ran towards my english class.

"Bye, We'll meet you at lunch." they said.
