Nari recalled to the time when she read the note that laid on the floor beneath her locker.
It was after lunch when Ara and her was making their way back to class, making a quick stop by their lockers.
"Look, what's this?" Ara had bent down beneath her and picked up a piece of paper - it was folded carefully, Nari's name written across the front.
Nari took it from her and opened it up, she smiled at the writer's cringiness and how they acknowledged it.
"So.... who's it from?"
"It doesn't say.."
"Ooh, Nari has a secret admirer." Ara had shouted, bouncing up and down.
"Can you be any more louder? And no, this is so old school."
Ara shrugged, "it's a classic which makes it special. Nowadays you just get texts and ding - you're together but with notes it has a sense of mystery," she bent down low, pretending to creep around like a spy.
Nari shook her head, a small smile had appeared on her face, amused by her friend's acting. "You're right... and besides, I like old school."
"And that my friend is why you belong in the past." Ara joked.
"Very funny."
Nari smiled softly to herself after going down a little trip. I wonder who it could be..
"Nari! Were you listening?" Ara snapped, sending her back to reality.
"Nope..." She grinned sheepishly.

Jinyoung was on his way home from school with his friends. They were mucking about here and there, occasionally talking about what happened in school.
"And now he got detention for 2 hours." Jisung, one of his friends, gossiped.
"Wow, really?" Sungwoon gasped in disbelief, "how could someone like him end up in detention?"
Jisung shrugged, "but you didn't hear it from me okay. Anyways..." he trailed of into another story but Jinyoung wasn't listening.
He was too busy thinking about whether or not Nari found his note. So what if she did? She would just throw it away... right? He didn't realise how quiet it was until he looked up from the pavement to see everyone staring at him.
"What are you thinking about Jinyoung? Do you have a girlfriend?" Jaehwan teased.
Everyone burst into laughter.
Jinyoung chuckled awkwardly, he felt himself go red, he was about to say something when Jisung cut ahead with another story.
"Apparently Hwang Nari, in his and Daehwi's class, has an admirer. Someone heard her friend shout it out in the corridor yesterday."
"Ahhh, is it you Jinyoung?" Sungwoo nudged him with his elbow.
Jinyoung shook his head, "nahhhh..."
"He may be denying it.."
"Leave him be," Minhyun spoke for the first time in forever.
As time passed, the group of boys continued to joke and laugh, they moved away from Jinyoung's 'love life' onto a new topic where Jinyoung was greatly thankful to Minhyun because he was the one that came up with the subject.
He became more observant, occasionally listening to the conversation and glancing around him to see if anyone stopped because of him. He did this every few minutes or so to prevent the scene that occurred earlier. Then again, he was glad that Nari had found the note he wrote yesterday. I wonder what she did with it.
A/N: ayeeeee, I have finished this chapter whoop. Also pretend Wanna One are around his age because I cannot be bothered to make any new characters and I cannot be bothered to search up his friend from Wanna One Go: Zero Base. Basically, I'm just too lazy to do anything 😂
