Chapter 42

James coughed slightly.
Sirius coughed a little more than slightly.
Peter was just confused whilst Remus laughed.
The girls however were laughing so hard their faces were redder than Lily's hair.

"Lily you're fine with this?" James questioned.
"Well, I mean it's the last train ride. Plus we've already turned in our badges so technically we're not Head Boy and Head Girl anymore," Lily shrugged, "Also he deserves it."

I laughed and made my way out of the compartment.

We all laughed as we heard Snape's groans as he fled his compartment.

"I never thought Lily Evans would be a part of pranking Severus Snape," Camellia laughed.
"Neither did I, but I also didn't think I'd be dating James Potter. I mean seriously, James Potter!" Lily exclaimed.
"Should I be offended?" James mumbled.

"I never thought any of us would be dating a Marauder. I always thought we were way to innocent to be involved with The Marauders!" I stated, and everyone looked at me oddly.
"Claire Bennet? Innocent? You are anything but innocent! You have been bullying me since First year!" Sirius exclaimed.
"Bullying? How did I bully you?!" I questioned.
"Oh I dunno, maybe 'Sirius Black is an irresponsible jerk who I would never want to be friends with!' That sounds innocent to you?" Sirius asked.
"Oh leave me alone!" I pouted.
"Why should I?"
"Because I'm your fiancé!"
"That's not an excuse!"
"Sure it is!"
"This is not fair."
"And you're going to have to live with me for the rest of your life!"
"Hmph."

I laughed as Sirius pouted.

"Is that what marriage is? The wife getting whatever she wants?" Peter questioned.
"Yeah, it's the only reason we ladies fall in love," Camellia nodded.

"I don't know how to feel anymore," James grumbled.

We all got off the train, soaking in the platform for the last time.

"I can't believe it's been seven years since we first got on this platform," I muttered.
"And now we're going out into the real world," Lily sighed.
"Hey um, hate to break up the party, but the devil is coming our way," Camellia stated, nodding in the direction of a very angry woman storming our way.

I noticed that she wasn't really looking directly at us, and after turning around I realized she was heading towards Sirius and the guys.

"Sirius Black you disgrace!" Walburga screeched.

Sirius's head snapped up.

"Girls c'mon!" I said, running over to the guys.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" I exclaimed, stepping in front of Sirius.
"Claire let me handle this," Sirius muttered.
"And why should I listen to you, you filthy halfblood!" Walburga scoffed.
"Because if you don't, I'll just have to use that Muggle side of me," I spat.
"I bet you will. Now move," Walburga ordered.
"No," I stated firmly.
"Claire please-"
"No Sirius."

Sirius and I were cut off as Walburga turned a very dark shade of red.

"I said move!"
"And I said no!"
"I know who you are Clairesse! And if you think I'm going to just allow you to run off with my son then you are mistaken!"
"Is that so?"
"You better watch your-"

Walburga went to grab her wand but before she could a fist collided with her cheek.

Even though I had planned to punch her, it was not my fist that collided with her cheek.

"I don't care if you're my mother, or if you're some stranger I just met! No one talks to my fiancé like that!" Sirius growled.
"You're a disgrace to The Noble House of Black and I don't ever want to see your disgusting face again," Walburga snarled.
"Good, cause I didn't want to see you either," Sirius spat before grabbing my hand and leading me out of the platform.

A few things I have to say!
First, they are done with their Hogwarts years!
Second, Wattpad just updated literally today but I still can't use bold and italics without it making the whole story bold or italics.
Third, I just spent my whole weekend binge watching Stranger Things and it is honestly the best show I have ever seen! I love it so much!
Fourth, Happy early Thanksgiving! I'm not going to be uploading on Thanksgiving so I figured I'd say it now. But I would like to give my thanks to all of you who have supported this story! I'm saying this because you have all helped me continue this story, and without your support this wouldn't even exist! But I'm also saying this because Dancing In The Rain just hit nine thousand reads and that is crazy to me! I am so thankful for you all, and I hope you all have a fantastic day!
