"Come on! Don't be a wus, Austin!" Cullen exclaimed. "Its only a big house!"
"Abandoned... In the middle of the woods... Someone doesn't just leave unless something paranormal has happened!" Austin said in fear.
"Or unless the house owner died.." Piper added grimly. "Anyway," she continued, "I wanna go and take a look around. Who's with me?" However, she didn't wait for an answer. She trotted onwards towards said house.
The group followed behind hesitantly. Well, other than Ashton, of course. It was hard to scare Ashton, but the same wouldn't be said about Austin. He'd be scared of his own shadow if he didn't know what it was!
"I don't think this is a good idea, guys..." Austin's voice was quiet, his head constantly whipping around to every sound he heard.
-Thump-Thump-
"WHAT WAS THAT?! I TOLD YO-" "Chill, dude! I just dropped my phone!" Ashton yelled, quite annoyed with Austin freaking out with everything that would happen.
Just then, a silhouette could be seen. Ashton could tell it was another creature as he. "There's another SkullDog here." He said, sighing as he and the unknown female crept towards eachother. Austin immediately panicked and backed against a wall, of which was behind them. Spencer stood in front of his girlfriend, Piper.
The figure suddenly pounced on Ashton, the two immediately breaking into a fight as they plummet to the ground. Bloodied fur flew into the air, both SkullDogs feral, and burning with rage. Ashton was now wrestling to get out from under the female, soon getting an idea. He used his back legs to throw the female off of him, right before a crash could be heard.
Ashton, on all fours, trotted over towards the unknown female, pinning her down so she wouldn't escape.
"What is your fucking problem?!" He growled.
"My territory!" She answered, a strong Norwegian accent rang in her voice as she spoke.
"Well, you didn't have to attack me! We will leave!" He snarled, hesitantly releasing his grip on the she-dog. The two took their anthropomorphic forms once again, the small group heading towards the exit.
"Where's Maya?..." Piper said, fear stricken as she quickly realized her best friend wasn't with them. She began frantically looking for any trace of Maya. The female was gone.
"That bastard!" Spencer snarled under his breath. "I'm sorry! I gotta go.... get some water!" Austin said, running out through the doors, yelling an apology as he did so. What are y'all standing around for?! We gotta look for her!" Piper yelled.
I might make a part two if y'all like this! I had originally written this for National Novel Writing Month, so I have a lot more on paper to publish! Anyways, cya, everyone!
