Ben, Audrey, Chad, and I are standing near the entrance to Auradon Prep. Ben and I talked to our parents yesterday and discussed what our first royal decrees are, since we will be the new King and Queen soon. Ben, being the caring and concerned person he is, wanted four of the children from the most evil villains to come over from the isle to have a second chance. I liked that idea. I agreed with him. But in my head, that's a bad idea. What about the other kids? Surely there are others who would like to come. Who want to escape from their cruel lives over there.

I know what you're wondering, what was my decree? Well, first off let me tell you a few important things about me. It will help clarify my choice. I am Ben's twin sister. We were born a day apart, poor mother. He was born first, so naturally he got more attention. But when I got older, I started to discover myself. Mom and dad tried their hardest to make me the "perfect princess" they were hoping for. I had different things in mind. I wanted to do things that Ben got to do with father. I liked boy things. I wore boy clothes, always had my hair short, and I loved to bond with dad and Ben. I did appease mother by cooking and baking with her. I grew to like that. Mom and dad accepted who I was, because they love me and want me to be happy.

Last year, I came out to them. I'm a lesbian. They didn't know how to react. I told them they didn't have to like my choice, but to respect it. Ben was there too, and he was astonished, and admired my courage. Mom and dad agreed and they told me they didn't love me any less.

That leads into what my royal decree is. I want the LGBTQ+ community to be legal in Auradon. I want everyone to be who they wanted to be without the judgement of others. It wasn't exactly outlawed, but there are no laws on it. I want people to know it's ok. You can be gay, trans, lesbian, queer, and whatever else.

So here we are, looking at the limo coming with the four villain kids. Honestly, I'm as excited as Ben is. Though, I'm really irritated on how Chad is always hanging on me. He wants to date me badly, but I haven't even told him I'm a lesbian yet. The only people that know are my family, Fairy God Mother, Jane, and Lonnie. I want to announce it publicly, I just haven't found the right moment to. I'll do it when I'm ready.

The driver got out and opened the door, causing all four to tumble out. They quickly stand up, but the boys continue to fight over something. Fairy God Mother yelled at them. "Just leave it where you found it!" The boys stopped and threw it back into the vehicle.

Ben proceeded to introduce himself to the four. Their names are Jay, Carlos, Mal, and Evie. Ben was interested in Mal, even though he's dating Audrey. Well, I'd rather him date someone else than that self absorbed brat. Whatever, it's not my place.

Now it's my turn to get acquainted. First I start with the guys. "Hello, I'm Brooke. I'm Ben's younger sister. I'm the cooler sibling." Well, I got them to laugh, so that's good. "Just tell me your names as I come to you."

I walked to the muscular guy with long black hair. "I'm Jay, son of Jafar." He winked at me, but I acted like I didn't notice.

Next was a shorter boy with curly white hair. "I'm Carlos, son of Cruela de Vil." I nodded and gave him a small smile.

Next was a tough looking girl with short purple hair. "Mal, daughter of Maleficent." Her eyes glowed bright green.

The next girl blew me away. She is enchanting. She must have noticed how I was looking at her, because she blushed. "Hi, I'm Evie. I'm the Evil Queen's daughter. Which means I'm a princess." I smiled and kissed her hand. Obviously, people are staring at us.

"Not here you're not. You aren't on the Isle anymore." Ugh, why does Audrey have to be a brat?

I turn to look at Audrey. Anger and irritation are plain on my face. "Shut up, Audrey! God, can't you stay quiet for once?" I turn back to them. "Sorry about that. Ok, Ben and I will take you to your rooms. Tomorrow we'll give you a tour and you'll get your school supplies. And you can chose which classes you want. Then you'll start on Monday."

"Ok, this is your room. You two will share. You can customize it to your liking. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, Ben, or Fairy God Mother. Ok, before I go, do you have any questions, comments, snark remarks?"

"Nope we're good. You can go now."

"See you tomorrow, girls."

I shut the door and walked down the hallway. I went to Lonnie's door and knocked on it. "Hey, Brooke. You need something."

"Jane's room, now." I quickly walked to Jane's room. She opened it.

"Hi, Brooke, hi Lonnie. Come on in." I went in and sat on a chair.

"What's wrong, Brooke?" I exhaled deeply.

"I need some girl talk. I-I think I like someone." They both squeeled and sat on Jane's bed.

"Ok, who's this mystery girl?" Lonnie sounded intrigued.

"Don't get mad, Ok? I like Evie." They both raised their eyebrows. "I know, it's crazy and stupid. I mean, I just met her today."

"So, you're not concerned that you like a VK?" Lonnie nudged Jane.

"Honestly, no."

"Ok well, what is it you like about her?" Lonnie asked.

"She's very beautiful. She might me the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Her blue hair falls just the right way. She braids her hair at the top to look like a crown, I find that cute. Her posture is perfect. She has so much confidence. Her lips look so kissable. But her personality is really what gets me. Even though she's the daughter of the Evil Queen, she seems really nice. And she gets easily flustered, you guys know I love that about a girl. So, yeah. That's what I like about her."

I look over and they both look like I've awestrucked them. Jane looks like she's gonna cry. Jane came over to me and hugged me. "Oh my God! That's so adorable!"

"Yeah, you should totally ask her out, Brooke!"

"Wait, hold up, girls. I just met her. I don't even know if she likes girls. Let alone, if she likes me back."

Both of them were thinking hard. The best part about having them as my best friends, is they try and help me out in the love department. I love them for that.

Lonnie spoke up first. "Oh, I know! Why don't you just court her? You know, be her friend, but try to be more at the same time. Take her on walks, hang out, just be with her. Then when the time is right, ask her out."

"You both think I should?"

"Yeah!" They said in unison.

"Alright, then. I'll do it." They both squeeled again and hugged me. "But if this doesn't work, I'm blaming you two."
