Joshua's P.O.V
I wanted at that moment all those seconds when I was talking to Sofie I just wanted to tell her the truth.
I wanted to tell her the secret I've been hiding. That's been haunting me even in my sleep. What's worse is I've been keeping this secret ever since I met Sofie.
If Iris knew my secret I'd be toast. She'd never want to talk to me. Or even see me! Iris and I have been dating her for about two years now...
I'll keep this secret for a bit. But soon I'll let the secret out...Just not now nows not the best time. Once I left the hospital, I went to the house.
Me being as forgetful as ever I forgot Iris was coming to the house. I quickly took a shower,changed, got the food ready,got the table ready, and set the food.
I heard the door bell ring. I quickly opened the door to find Iris right at the door smiling. "Hey babe." Iris said with a kiss. "Hey babe how are you?" I said.
"I'm happy now that I got to see your face." She said softly. "Yeah me too.." I said trying to break the awkwardness. "May I come in?" She asked. "Of course!" I smiled shutting the door behind me.
During the date we just talked most of the time. We took a walk for a bit. It was us just well talking. The usual that most people talk about.
"How's your day?"
"What are you doing today?"
"How are you?" All those question. After the walk when we came back it was seven o'clock. We said our goodbyes and I went straight to bed.
