An this is really loosely based on another story called warriors the new hope plus I really love this song
Carols POV
I sighed lightly this cat yellowfang from a place called star clan had been telling me that my son was part of a big prophecy. That could save four clans of cats, she had given me days. To decide if I would allow this, yet I still wasn't sure.
   "I understand your conflicted feelings."
I look over,yellowfang sat next to me her tail curled neatly around her legs.  Yellowfang has been very patient with me not to mention understanding. But yet I had to ask,
"How do you understand?"
Yellowfang's ears folded back and her eyes filled with sorrow.
"I had a son too, and two daughters that died after birth."
I gasped "I'm so sorry to hear that."
She purred lightly and continued "yes I named the Tom brokenkit and the other two hopekit and dreamkit. Brokenkit became brokenpaw and then brokentail, soon after becoming deputy of shadow clan he killed his father to become leader..."
She blinked,
"I never told him I was his mother and I was always conflicted about him i was always proud of him more than he knew. But sometimes that's not enough."
Yellowfang paused and looked at me. I blinked confused if a cat could kill there own father and have no remorse than why should they become leader?
"But that's not important anymore brokenstar is dead and gone but what is will you allow your son to become part of the clans to save them?"
I nod slowly if lives depended on my son I had no right to refuse.
"Yes I will on one condition I get one more day to spend with him and like you said I can see what he's done during the day with star clan.
Yellowfang nodded calmly and laid down as a broad shouldered tabby with amber eyes padded down from the sky. He nodded to Yellowfang
"Yellowfang...."
He paused and looked at me.
"Carol right? Have you made your choice?"
Yellowfang stood up and padded over to him.
"Greetings Bramblestar you can happily tell the rest of star clan that our dear clans are saved carol has agreed to let go of her son for as many moons as it takes. As long as she can see him in star clan."
The brown broad shouldered tabby nodded,
"This is certainly good news!"
He turned to me
"... you have one more day to spend with your kit make it good."
I nodded as he leaped up back into the night sky. Yellowfang let out a low purr and headed after him.
"Oh and carol I'll see you soon."
She called glancing back at me.
