A brown cat with green spots and a yellow cat with blue spots sat on a flat stone, sharing tongues

"Waterstar, how was your day?" the brown cat asked.

"Fine, Plantstar, except for when two of the Starclan warriors argued," the yellow cat replied. The brown cat only nodded.

Suddenly, in the corner of her eyes, Plantstar saw four pairs of cat eyes, with no scent of Plantclan or Waterclan, staring at her. Impatient, she nudged Waterstar's side and used her tail to point at the intruders.

"Who are they?" asked Waterstar. Plantstar shrugged her shoulders. The four pairs of eyes turned into four cats.

"Who are you?!" Plantstar snarled with hostility as the four unknown cats stepped closer to her and Waterstar. The blue-grey she-cat was the first to step forward.

"My name is Bluestar, the former leader of Thunderclan," she addressed. "And this is Raggedstar, the former leader of Shadowclan." The tom stepped forward and bowed respectfully. Plantstar felt her fur smooth, and she said, "Who are those two then?"

"My name is Tallstar," the black-and-white tom with a very long tail said. "The former leader of Windclan."

"And my name is Crookedstar, the former leader of Riverclan," the huge light-coloured tabby said next. He then bowed at the two cats.

"Thunderclan? Shadowclan? Windclan? Riverclan?" Waterstar asked, confused. "I thought there was only Plantclan and Waterclan?" Plantstar could smell fear and confusion on her.

"We were confused at first when we knew that too," Bluestar replied calmly. "But you need to face the fact that there are actually six clans on this land." The other leaders nodded their heads.

"But how did this happen?" Plantstar asked. "Why do I not know about this?" She really wanted to solve this quickly.

"Many generations ago, there was an argument between Thunderclan and Plantclan," Bluestar started. "Windclan, Shadowclan and Riverclan were in Thunderclan's side, and Waterclan was in Plantclan's side."

"At last, Thunderclan won, and Waterclan and Plantclan were driven out of the forest," Tallstar continued. "The six Clans agreed not to tell their kits about the oppostion Clans."

"Thus, generations after generations, the Clans were forgotten," Crookedstar explained. "Until now."

Plantstar and Waterstar nodded their heads in understanding.

"So what can we do now?" Plantstar asked.

"We need you two to send signs to three cats of each Clan," Bluestar explained. "We four will also sent signs to the leaders of our Clans."

"Signs about what?" Waterstar asked, still a bit confused about what was happening.

"Tell them that they need to find the four other clans," Tallstar mewed. "Tell them they need to travel east, where the sun sets."

Plantstar gasped. "We can't do that! Some cats will die along the way!"

"Not if you help them," Raggedstar mewed back.

"But your four Clans will think of us as intruders and attack us!" Waterstar said.

"That's why you are also sending signs to the leaders," Crookedstar replied.

Plantstar nodded her head at Waterstar and she nodded her head back. "Okay then," Plantstar mewed at the cats. "We will send the signs as soon as possible."

"Then we are off," Bluestar replied. "See you soon!" So, the former leaders left.

"Who are the three you are going to send the signs to?" Plantstar asked Waterstar.

"Dawnfur, Lionpelt, and Mousetail," Waterstar replied proudly. "How about you?"

"Woodpool, Leafpaw and Blossompaw," Plantstar mewed.

"I know who is Woodpool, but who is Leafpaw and Blossompaw?" Waterstar asked, startled.

"You will not know who are they," Plantstar replied while licking her paws. "Because they are not born yet."
