The next mourning
Ash and Pikachu woke up the next mourning with the sound of flechlings singing.
"Good mourning Pi" Ash said to his best friend
"Pika pi pikachu(Good mourning Ash- wait, what did you call me)?" asked pikachu
"That's your nickname or bud, which ever I use now come one let's go get breakfast" Ash said as he sat up and him and pikachu walked out of the tent and sprinted towards the pokemon center.
Once he was in, he gave a quick mourning greeting to Nurse Joy and went to the cafeteria to eat.
When he got there, he saw his friends and their parents talking to each "I guess we really are invisible huh Pi" Ash said as pikachu followed his gaze and lowered his ears in sadness
"Pika" he said sadly
"Hey cheer up, we'll just act like we're not here until they notice we're gone ok" Ash said and scratch his ear and he cooed
"chaaaa"
The two got breakfast and headed back to their tent and started to training each other. When they finished, the two of them began to entertain each other to past the time when Ash suddenly said "hey Pi, let's go see what the others are up to " pikachu nodded
Both Ash and pikachu walked back to the pokemon center and went to their friends room. Ash opened the door while both had on a cold expression as they watched their friends open presents and laugh and talked.
He had had enough and ran out the pokemon center and into the woods.
"I can't belive this! They completely didn't notice us! This is unbelievable!" Ash complained as pikachu nodded in agreement
With the gang
Everyone but Ash and pikachu walked out the room and down the hall past Nurse Joys desk, ready to have a snow ball fight when Nurse Joy stopped them
"Excuse me but are you Ash's friends" she asked
They turned towards her "Yes we are is there something wrong" Serena asked in concern
"Well he told me last night to give this note to Clemont and walked into the forest with his pikachu" she said and handed the note to Clemont.
Everyone exchanged glances and walked to the loby and sat down.
Clemont opened the note and began to read:
Dear Serena Bonnie and Clenont,
I notice that ever since your patents got here that you have been ignoring me and pikachu like we never excisted. Not only could my mother couldnt make it but you guys have been rubbing it in my face like you didnt notice at all. You even took my bed and made me sleep out in the cold so I decided that I'm not going to be back until after new years where we could continue our journey. Sorry for not being there but I couldn't stand it anymore. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

Clemont finished and everyone had a very sad expression on their faces
"Oh my, I can't believe we ignored Ash for so long we have to find him and apologize" Grace said and everyone nodded in determination
They ran into the clearing where Ash was. A few minutes past and they still couldn't find him anywhere. They were about to walk back to the pokemon center and wait when they suddenly heard singing and followed it.
Once they were close enough, they found Ash and pikachu sitting on a log.
Serena was about to walk over there and confront him when Clemont put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her in her tracks and whispered "Let's watch him first before we go ok" she nodded even though she didn't want to.
Serena got an idea and took out her tablet. "Serena what are you doing" Bonnie whispered
"If Ash is gonna sing, I wanna record it so we can watch it later, after all we aren't gonna tell him we were here" Serena whispered back and they all nodded before turning their attention to the raven haired boy.
As they watched, Ash got up from the log and looked in the sky. He took a deep breath a began to sing.
