Deirdre was having an awful day. Her so called friends decided to exclude her from their conversations and walked away together, ignoring her. In her science class, a boy was making fun of her and instead of standing up for her, they laughed.

At lunch, her friends let a stranger take her spot, making her sit far away and alone. Later on, they were making fun of her looks.

"I told you guys to stop!" Deirdre yelled.

Now that the whole class was paying attention to her, her anxiety crept up so she ran.

The teacher tried to stop her but Deirdre managed to escape her grasp. She exited her middle school, and stopped running when she reached the playground.

Shitty day, Deirdre thought, and it's only going to get worse going back home.

She walked along the sidewalk, admiring the sky. It was going peacefully until she felt a pricking sensation on her neck, warning her that someone is watching.

She glanced back and saw a man hiding behind a tree, his eyes fixated on her. She was so scared now, she started shaking.

She began walking fast, wanting to find a place where there are a lot of people.

When she looked back, the man was now walking behind her. She decided to run.

Unfortunately, the man began to run and soon caught up.

The man grabbed her and yanked her towards him.

"Well, hello pretty girl. What are you doing here all alone?" The man purred next to her ear.

Deirdre whimpered but is too frightened to do or say anything.

"Should we have a little fun?"

That's when Deirdre's conscience woke up. She bit the man's arm and kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. The man grunted in pain and let go of her.

Deirdre ran as fast as she could but just when she thought she was safe, the man tackled her and pinned her arms down.

"Thought you"d escape?"

She tried but failed to escape the man's hold. She didn't want this, she never wanted this.

The man ripped off her shirt and proceeded to take off her pants. Deirdre started to kick but the man didn't budge.

"Look at you, so young, so delicious. You were only born to be a slut," the man's voice turned delirious at the end. She began to scream but the man stuffed a shirt in her mouth.

He began to unbutton his pants and she kicked him again, and again but it was pointless. This was her destiny anyways. Her parents always told her that she was just a man's toy.

All of a sudden, before the man was able to penetrate her, a rock struck the man's head. The newcomer then tackled her attempted rapist to the ground, knocking him unconscious.

The newcomer, she could see, was a man with fluffy,  uncontrollable hair that was ebony black. The man looked to be at least seventeen and he was too scrawny to win a fight but don't judge a book by it's cover.

Deirdre scrambled away, thinking that he was going to rape her.

Instead, the man threw a jacket big enough to cover her small, skinny body.

"Here, call the police," the stranger's voice was gruff but oddly soothing. The stranger threw his phone at her and Deirdre scrambled to catch it.

With the jacket on, her short black hair was messy and she couldn't stop trembling, called the policy.

She dialed 911

"Hello, what is the emergency?"

"I was almost raped and my attempted rapist is here, passed out," Deirdre stuttered. Her voice had a slight quiver and broke down crying.

"Okay miss, what's your address?"

"I don't know where I am," she began to look around, not knowing where she is.

"Okay just stay on this phone so we can track you."

"Okay," Deirdre then began to speak to her savior, "Thank y-" When she turned around, the man was no longer there.
