"I'll get more paint"

Start from the beginning

"Again?" Spencer gasps

We all stare amazed at her, waiting for Hanna to tell us more

"I'm only kidding. I'm not pregnant" she laughs

"Thank god" Ali laughs letting out a sigh of relief

"What'd you mean thank god?"

"Hanna if you were pregnant you'd have three kids under three. That's like one a year"

"Three kids is enough...Just now"

"Mommy, can I get a little brother?" Leo asks

"What's wrong with Zoë?"

"She's boring" Leo says, pushing Zoë away from a hug

"Please Mommy. I've asked Daddy"

"And what did he say?"

"He said I was to ask you"

"No Leo. Mom and Dad are too busy writing their book to do anything"

"That's not what Ezra told me" Han rudely jokes

Ali's pov

"Hello Alison, how are you today?"

"I'm great Pam. How are you?"

"Excited to spend the night with my daughter"

"I'm excited too" I smile as I pull Pam into a hug

"So what are you going to buy Emily?"

"Honestly I don't know yet. What are you buying her?"

"I was hoping you could give me a clue" Pam laughs

"I was thinking of buying her a new phone"

"What number is this now?"

"Like iPhone fifty" I laugh

"For the price that is, I'd want it to take me to Australia and back...twice"

"Well while we think of presents for Emily I'll take you for dinner"

"You don't have to Alison"

"I know, but I want to"

"Thank you" she smiles

"We could get her a Zimmer frame, she is getting old" I laugh

"She's the same age as you" Pam giggles

"No. I'm twenty-nine, she's thirty"

"The big three-O"

Pam and I have dinner and then go to the mall to shop for birthday presents.
I have a piece of clothing I want to buy, to surprise Emily but I'm definitely not going to buy it with Pam around.

"Do you think she'll like these socks?" Pam asks, holding a pair of bright pink socks as she passes me her shopping bag full of momish presents

"I'm sure she'll love them" I lie

I buy Emily a new phone, sporty outfits, new shoes, a love heart necklace and a few more small things.
From Lily and Grace I buy a teddy hugging a heart that says Mom on it and a mug with a photo of the four of us, from Paris.

"I'm glad we can go shopping together. Emmy has never been a fan of shopping. It's nice to have a daughter who will take me to the mall"

"And I'm glad I have a mom who will take me to the mall" I smile

Emily's pov

"You got any homework to do for your new class?"

"We have things to show how arty and smart we are" Lily tells me

"If it's spelling you'll have to wait until Mom comes home"

"We've to build a house"

"A house?"

"Yeah a cardboard house. A small one"

"Okay, I'll help you"

Lily, Grace and I build the perfect house for a dwarf-hamster sized human. We get cardboard, scissors, glue, newspaper and paint. My job is to do the cutting, Lily has to rip up the newspaper and mix it into a bowl of glue. Grace has to collect paint bottles and then help Lily with the paper. Once we have all finished we put our contributions together to form the best cardboard and paper mashe house ever

"I'm home" Ali shouts, sliding through the front door

"Mom come help us paint"

Alison kneels down beside me, picks up a paint brush which is covered in blue pain and looks at it for a while

"What color is this?" She asks, holding it in front of my noes

"It's blue" I answer, confused as to why she's asking me

"Are you sure?" She asks as she moves it closer to my face

"Y..." Before I can answer Alison swiftly pushes the paint brush onto my nose

I wipe the blue off my nose and pick up a red bottle of paint. I empty the paint onto Alison's hair and smudge it deep into her root with my hands

"I swear to god...you are such a cow..."she screams as she attempts to wipes the red paint out of her hair

Ali pick up the blue bottle and squirts the rest of it onto her hands, she grabs my boobs leaving hand prints on my chest. Alison then moisturises my whole face with the blue paint. Lily and Grace watch us throw paint at each other, before joining in. Soon we are all throwing different colors of paint at each other. Lily and Grace giggle with extreme joy as yellow paint hits the ceiling.

The bottles of paint are over us and our living room however, not a single drop has landed on the cardboard house

"I'll change my clothes and wash my face, then I'll get more paint. You clean Lily and Grace" I tell Alison, accidentally leaning my hand into a blob of green

Alison devilishly smiles at me before carrying Lily and Grace into the bathroom to help them clean up

"You still look like a smurf" she shouts to me as I leave the house
