Welcome to Pandemic! Before you read on, there's a few things I should explain to make the story a little more clear.
At the beginning of every chapter, the date and infected population will be posted. This is to give a more accurate description of the infection's progress to spread worldwide.
Speaking of worldwide, this story will be set in the real world. This is so I don't spend too much time randomly thinking of country, city and regional names, all of which will be used at some point in the story. I'll also use similar figures for a world population (around 7 billion) as another way not to complicate things too much.
There will also be one or two news headlines at the beginning to tell you the most important things happening in the world at the time to gain more understanding of the severity of the disease at every point in the story.
Finally, all chemical terms are made up (unless it's something obvious) since I'm not a professional chemist. As that's the case, I don't recommend looking them up unless you don't trust me; you won't find the chemical since it doesn't exist.
Hopefully that adds some clarity to the story to help you get a bit more of a clear image of the story as it goes along. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the story.
