(Third person's POV)

"Ah, Haibara-san!" Mitsuhiko exclaimed happily as he saw me.

"Tsuburaya-kun," Haibara said slightly surprised, "you're here early."

"You came out early too," he laughed, "I didn't think you'll come out so fast."

"Kudo was getting on my nerves," Haibara sighed.

"Kudo?" he said with a questioning look and it came into his mind slowly, "oh, that's Edogawa-kun's real name."

"Right," Haibara grinned thinking how you forget such a shocking secret so easily.

"So you're ready right?" he asked not bothering to hide his excitement.

"Uh, yeah, I am," Haibara replied.

"Great, then let's go!" he smiled as he dragged her by the hand.

"He's touching her..." a low grumble came out of the boy that was watching from the upstairs window.

"He's pulling her by the hand..." Conan growled, "that Mitsuhiko..."

(Haibara's POV)

"Where are we going?" I asked the boy after a while of walking.

"You'll see," he smiled so cheerfully I found myself smiling as well.

"Haibara-san..." he started.

"Yes?"

"Do you mind walking a lot?" he asked, his eyes suddenly so serious.

"Is that a question that's suppose to be so hard to ask?" I smirked.

"Ah no," he laughed, "I was just worried you'll cut me off and say no and walk out on me."

"I'm willing to do whatever you want to do today Tsuburaya-kun," I smiled gently.

He grinned so widely it covered half of his face. (weird)

"Can you call me by my first name?"

"Take me to the place," I paused and smiled at the child's warm innocence, "Mitsuhiko-kun."

(Mitsuhiko's POV)

After a long pause of silence I decided to ask personal questions.

She seemed to know everything about me, like I was some book to read, but I knew nothing about her except that she has no family, and that she's seventeen.

"Haibara-san...do you mind if I ask questions?" I asked just to make sure she'll be okay with it.

she replied with a nod.

"Um...when's your birthday?" I started.

"December twenty first," she answered casually.

"What's your hobby?"

"...uh? reading?"

"...do you play any musical instruments?"

"I play the piano and the guitar."

"Really? I didn't know that!"

"Probably because I never mentioned," she said her tone stating the obvious.

"Ahaha," I laughed awkwardly.

"...how old...was your sister?"

"..." she stayed silent, her eyes turning away from me. I immediately regretted it.
