Hollow Tree

Poem Title - Hollow Tree

Where is her hollow tree,
All she get's are thorns,
No roses dressed in color,
Only withered flowers that are torn.
She is merely a child,
Innocent and lacking serenity,
A saint in suffering,
With a heart of gold and purity.

While others search for a light in the darkness,
She makes her own inside of herself,
When others fall to their knees in defeat,
She strives to previal even when she's weak.
A fighter is what she's become,
A fighter is what she will remain,
Nothing can snuff the fiie inside,
Braver than most by making friends with the flames.

Possesing a soul and a mind like no other,
So many thoughts of creativity,
Such depth in the poems she writes,
Filled with raw emotion that pierces your eyes,
Then it digs it's way to your heart.
And conumes every inch of you inside,
Endless pain but her poker face is strong,
Life isn't going her way yet she still moves along.

Her journey is a long and winding road,
There is a storm in the sky that hides the suns glow,
Yet she doesn't fear the darkness and the lightning that flashes,
Or when the skies fall apart and the world turns cold.
A solid composure as if she showers in cement,
With a will like titanium to never bend,
Following a path that she never intended,
Facing trials of faith and she has ascended.

She may not be perfect and never claims to be,
I wouldn't care if she was an every day sinner,
We all have imperfections that aren't very understanding,
No matter what she'll always be my little sister.
She was a shadow to me and Tyler as chidlren,
Now we look up to her as she becomes a woman,
Young in her way but mature like no other,
It makes me proud and honored when she calls me her brother.

There's a million things I could say yet there would be no justice done,
I'll always keep this promise so always remember,
No matter how far nothing could break our bond,
I'll love you forever as my little sister.
