Jasmines POV, Setting~ 12:35 pm, Wednesday, 5th period lunch, schoolyard

It was my favorite day of the week, Wednesday, I love Wednesday's because no ones in a groggy mood from Monday and it's a whole two days from the end of the school week, yes, I like school, but only because the school work is easy and I get to see my friends. I'm very well known in my school and I consider everyone my friend, but I have 3 best friends, Rashelle, Melany, and Hazel, I've never told anyone this but... I LOVE HAZEL! She means everything to me and I would do anything for her. I always think how lucky I am to be near her.
"Jasmine." I hear a voice say.
"Jasmine~~~~" The voice says softly.
"JASMINE!" I snap out of my daydreaming state to see Rashelle,
"What the hell are you looking at?" She asks, I realize that I've been blankly staring out at the field for a while now.
"Huh? Oh, um... nothing." I reply.
"Well, I'm bored." Rashelle says irritated, suddenly Melany runs up to us,
"Jasmine, come try to do handstands on the fence with me and Hazel, you too Rashelle." Melany says, pointing at the farther end of the fence.
"HAZEL AND I!" Hazel screams before doing a cartwheel.
"GRAMMAR NAZI!" Melany screams back. I'm not good at anything gymnastics related... well actually, I suck at anything gymnastics related so I nervously deny the offer, hoping she doesn't try and drag me over to the fence.
"Oh come on, please?" She asks and flashes her pretty smile.
"But you know I can't do a handstand." I say, Melany does this to me every day so her pretty smile has no effect on me.
"You can do a bridge!" She says with an even bigger smile.
"No I can't." I say looking up at the clouds in the sky.
"You can do a cartwheel!" She says with the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.
"Nope." I say, still looking at clouds, practically ignoring her at this point.
"You can do a split!" She says, at this point her smile isn't even pretty anymore. Hazel walks up to us,
"Uhmuhgawd." She says and leans on the fence.
"I think I did too many cartwheels~~~" She continues, pulling her cheeks down. Wait... where are her glasses?
"Hazel, where did you put your glasses?" I ask, looking at her with a concerned face.
"Huh? What? Ummmmm....." She says worried.
"I think I lost them....." She continues, touching all over her face.
"You gave them to me, dumbass." Rashelle says, pulling Hazel's glasses out of her pocket.
"Oh, ahahahaha..." Hazel nervously laughs, there's an awkward silence and no one says anything, I decide to break the tension,
"Sooooooo... What are you guys doing after school?" I ask, hoping they reply.
"Nothing, I didn't get any homework so I'm probably just gonna be on my phone all night." Rashelle says, obviously still bored.
"My gymnastics meet got cancelled so I dunno." Melany sighs.
"My parents are staying out tonight... Oh that reminds me, do you guys want to come to my house? Maybe you guys could even sleep over." Hazel says while she cleans off her glasses. IT WOULD BE AN HONOR TO GO TO HER HOUSE!!!
"Yeah sure." I say nonchalantly, but really I was super excited! I had never been over anyone's house before so being invited to Hazel's house for my first sleepover was AMAZING!
"I'll ask my mom." Rashelle says and whips out her phone.
"Me too." Melany says nodding her head and taking out her phone as well. Then I realized, oh crap, I didn't bring my phone to school today,
"Shit." I whisper under my breath, I don't even know if my mom will let me go to Hazel's house, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Setting~ 3:05 pm, Wednesday, after school, in front of the school

I patiently wait for my mom to pick me up at the front of the school, fidgeting with my bracelets and going over what I was going to say to my mom over and over again inside my head. I was super nervous, I don't want to have to bail on my friends, and especially not on Hazel, I don't think she would care anyways though, she's completely oblivious that I like her. Finally, my mom pulls up in her silver Jeep and I hop in.
"How was school?" Mom asks.
"It was pretty good, I didn't get any homework." I reply, trying not to sound nervous.
"Really? No homework?" Mom asks, she probably thinks I'm lying.
"Yep, I do have a project due in a few weeks though." I reply again, she always thinks I'm lying. There's silence in the car as I listen to the radio and stare out the window, nearly dozing off. Suddenly I see that we're around the corner from our apartment complex and I've totally forgotten about going to Hazel's house so I ask quickly,
"Oh, I almost forgot, can I go to Hazel's house for a while?" I ask Mom, I can feel my palms getting sweaty and I start thinking of that one song by Eminem.
"Is your room clean?" Mom asks.
"Yea." I lie.
"Ok sure, I'll drop you off after work." She sighs, I feel kind of guilty, I know that she's tired after work and the last thing she wants to do is drive me somewhere, oh well, it's not like I care or anything! Haha, gotcha!Just kidding I love my mother and I feel a lump in my stomach from being greedy. I scurry upstairs to the second floor and quickly clean my room before my mother comes back upstairs, when I'm finally finished I check the time on my phone, 4:57 pm, I open the group chat with Hazel, Rashelle, Melany, and I in it.

4:57pm Me: Is it ok if I go 2 your house around 5-6, Hazel?
4:57pm Hazel❤️: yea sure, when r the rest of you gonna come?
4:58pm Rashelle👑: Same time as Jasmine I guess
4:59pm Melany😍: Me 2
5:00pm Hazel❤️: And I asked my mom if you guys could sleep over since there's no school tomorrow and she said sure
5:00pm Melany😍: K
5:01pm Rashelle👑: Kk

Wait, there's no school tomorrow? How convenient (I couldn't think of any other way they could have a sleepover that would be easy enough to write, I'm sorry that I'm so lazy😭😭😭)
I call and ask my mom if I could sleep over and she happily says yes, anything to get me out of her hair ay?
